Question:	Does it include Christmas as a holiday choice
Answer:	Not exact but I would say three to four inches biggest piece. Smaller are the squares and triangles and they are maybe 1.5 two inches. I bought for my 7 year old but my 11 month plays with them too. The only problem I have with the baby playing with them he has two teeth and chews the paint off easily. So not too good for babies.

Answer:	I think it is more appropriate for a 2 year than 1 year. The animals are made from very sturdy material, probably not wood, and are covered in material that looks like hair. My great granddaughter was 2 when I got them for her. She loves them still and is nearly 4.

Answer:	I don’t make them but on the site scan down the page under product information see what it says I don’t think so it’s solid wood

Question:	Why does it say ages 4 and up? Is this still appropriate for a 3 plus year old
Answer:	We bought it for our daughter when she was three. Twenty six pieces were too many for her to work with at one time. To make it more reasonable, I would offer one letter piece and three picture pieces at once and she could pick out what matched. Other than being conceptually advanced, I am not sure why it says 4+.

Answer:	I bought this for my two year old who already says his alphabets and I am teaching letter and object recognition. It has been great so far and this is actually the first item he reaches for when I tell him it is puzzle time. No issues so far with splinters and the letters and pictures are colorful and clear. Happy toddler, happy mom.

Answer:	I purchased this for my grand kids who live in another state. We spent hours playing with this over the Christmas holidays, but the only picture I can remember is x and that is x-ray.

Answer:	The answer is there is no BPA in these because BPA is used to make polycarbonate (clear plastic, like in drinking bottles), where as these are made from polypropylene, which is safe to the point that it is sometimes used as a material for medical implants.

Answer:	I don't know the answer about replacement but have to agree that this is a great way to teach basic math to kids. I have 2 grandsons in preschool and 1 granddaughter in kindergarten and they all love to play with this. I don't remember how much this originally cost me but maybe you could order a second set to use and use the first set as replacement pieces.
