Answer:	It seems like there is. The rubber sole is 1 1/2" deep at the back of your heel and the front of the toe box is only 3/4" of an inch sole. They are memory foam inside, and the white collar feels like mink--it is so soft. I ordered a half size bigger and they fit. They put a card in the slippers that they might feel tight at first but after wearing for a few days it stretches out. I still fit in them just right with the half size bigger. Just thought you might like to know that.

Answer:	I have wide feet as well and they are fine. They are very comfortable.

Answer:	No--I believe it is the softest cotton that I have ever felt. I think the foot part might be polyester but I cannot wear wool either. They are not wool or my feet would break out, so would my feet and hands from holding them. The entire inside is the soft combed cotton , so you feet don't touch the outside lower portion of the slipper. The company is called WishCotton, so I really think they work with cotton. Very soft--I really love them.
