Question:	Are you supposed to use the pen with the cap on or off
Answer:	I have found it fits very well on. My writing style I typically leave it off as I do with most pens I have simply to just not worry about the cap. That said fits snug and doesn’t add any issues to weight like some tend to do when the cap is a little more weight heavy vs. the weight in the pen.

Answer:	Hello! Our pens use Schmidt refills. We will offer them directly in the future but for now, if you search on Amazon for "Schmidt refill 888" you will see a number of options. Your pen has an 888F (fine, black ink) refill at the moment. There are plenty of colour and thickness options availabie. All the best!
Question:	How do you remove the cap?! It’s stuck
Answer:	It should just pull off? It may be bit tight at first but it just pulls off. Try twisting it a bit to the left or counter clockwise. Remember righty tighty? If you cannot remove it for some reason then respond back through Amazon. Scriveiner pens have an extensive warranty. They will gladly send you another one for free. Amazon has the same deal at least for Prime Members. In fact I also purchased the Schmidt 5888 Ceramic Rollerball Metal Tube Refill Fine Point 0.6mm, Black, 2 Pack Blister (SC58100). It comes with two Schmidt 888F liquid ink refills (One is obviously already in the pen). However, I’m fussy and I prefer the extra fine tip which is the 06mm tip. It is a fantastic pen of which I highly recommend. I was considering purchasing another one so I can keep one in my home office and the other in a smaller portable table I purchased at Staples. In the email you received from Amazon should have a pdf document attached that has extensive information about their pen. I’m a pen fanatic and I’ve never seen a pen come with a 4-page pdf document . Answer:	I have never tried to user it on wood. It is more of a liquid ink, but it may not stay.
Question:	Is this constructed of all metal, or just made to look like it is
Answer:	I have one that I use daily for school. The pen is in fact metal. Because of this, it's very loud when you tap it on a desk. There's a student in my class that always falls asleep, and he wakes right up when I bang that on his desk. The only part that's not metal is the button on top. That's plastic with a costing over it, and the color does wear off if after a while. I'm about to order a second pen because the clip broke off mine while it was clipped to my pocket.

Answer:	This pen comes with a .7mm/medium energel ink. However, you an use ANY energel refills for this pen. I actually buy the 1.0 bold for mine.

Answer:	They're the same pen, but in different packaging. The "A" refers to the ink or barrel color (in Pentel's scheme, "A" is black). The "BP" refers to the packaging; "BP" pens come in bubble packs (those annoying plastic bubbles surrounded by cardboard), non-BP pens have no packaging. Usually the "BP" designation is surrounded by the barrel and ink color. For example, a violet ("V") barrel with black ink in a bubble pack has the item number BL407-VBPA; the same barrel with violet ink has the item number BL407-VBPV. If there's no "BP" and only one letter after the 407, the letter refers to the barrel color ("A"=Black; "C"=Blue; "P"=Pink; "Z"=Silver, but generally is left off, as in the BL407-A; "LS"=Aquamarine; "V"=Violet). Answer:	The body of the "tool"s is strong enough for a vibrograver or a very shallow rotary bur engraver, but I saw no evidence of any engraving being offered with these. I suspect that you are thinking about using these as advertising give away items , and think that you might be better served by having a local printer make decals for the advertising art . This would take a little time to apply but be a lot cheaper to accomplish. Even transparent Ink Jet address labels could have art options that might work well. Someone with a laser engraver might also provide a service. Hope this helps.

Question:	I’m new to these pens. how do i install the ink ? do i need a ink converter ? if so can you tell me which one to order
Answer:	In order to install the rollerball refill, please unscrew the tip from the barrel (body of the pen) and insert the refill. Then, please screw the pen back together. The pen is compatible with Parker rollerball refills only.
Question:	Is a porous refill available
Answer:	You could probably "hack" a porous refill to work. Although Parker IM Rollerball pens are really only designed for Parker IM "Quink" rollerball refills, I have successfully modified Uni-Ball Signo, Uni-Ball Jetstream, and Pentel EnerGel refills to work in mine. Method: (1) Wrap a bit of electrical tape around the tip of the substitute refill to make it "fatter" like the Parker IM refills, and (2) add a plastic spacer to make up the right length. I just cut a 0.4mm section from the back of an empty Signo 207 refill and placed it into the pen body. Although I don't have a porous refill to try, looking at a picture of a Cross Selectip Porous-Point Refill on the Amazon listing, it looks to me like a similar "hack" would probably work with that refill.
