Question:	How do you open the cover to remove spool? I like the reel but I see no way to open the cover to access the spool reel
Answer:	The black dial on the non handle side has arrows showing the direction to turn it to unlock or lock the side plate. When you close it back up, turn it the opposite way to lock it down.

Answer:	Not for what the real is intended for. Very strong gear, as I have been snagged several times and put this reel under very unusual strain on gear with no issue. Aluminum is a strong material used in everything from aircraft to my ttop being held up by aluminum tubing. Stronger material definitely, for bigger demands like wahoo. Aluminum should not be a concern here though.

Question:	What test line are people using? everytime i try an overcast i ge backlash but im using 17lb spiderwire
Answer:	I use 40 lb Power Pro braided line or 12 pound mono inside break set at 2 outside brake set at 7 I have 3 Phantom reels. They're all about the same. I don't even have to use my thumb to stop it. It will not backlash. Excellent baitcasting reels and they cast far. When you start to use your thumb more the real will cast even further. And you can ease off the brakes.
Question:	I have 15 lb berkeley trilene big game mono, anyone using this type of line or larger on their reel and how is it working for you
Answer:	I use 12 lb. floro with mine, used 17 lb. for a while but just didn't need that heavy of a line. As long as your rod can handle it the larger line just cuts your casting distance down.
Question:	Would this stand up to Lake Trout or Salmon jigging
Answer:	Much as I love this reel, I do not think I'd use it for deep water jigging. You'd be better off with either a round reel, Like Piscifun's Chaos or a similar reel for that job, IMHO.
Question:	How does the phantom perform in salt water
Answer:	Why would anyone answer if they haven't tried it in salt water? I would not use this reel in saltwater unless you rinse it off after every outing with warm tap water then rinse with distilled water. If you submerge it in salt water it would be in your best interest to disassemble the reel to clean and lube it very well. This is good practice for any reel used in salt water. When salt water dries it leaves behind microscopic salt crystals that will reduce the life of your line because salt is very abrasive.
