Question:	How do you open the cover to remove spool? I like the reel but I see no way to open the cover to access the spool reel
Answer:	The black dial on the non handle side has arrows showing the direction to turn it to unlock or lock the side plate. When you close it back up, turn it the opposite way to lock it down.

Answer:	I have the R-60 and it’s not a high speed retrieve gear ratio reel, however I’m using the R-60 loaded with quality 30lb test big game mono to vertical jig for big drum & cobia. I’ve Been muscling 40lb to 80lb fish to the boat in 25ft to 60ft of water with no trouble and the Larger power handle on the R-60 is great for this. Definitely a nice reel for the money and is great for vertical jigging for big fish in the R-60 size.

Answer:	the ones that came with my unit were 5/8" shaft, so you would need a different pulley for the motor end. might want to check out the speed you want to run it at. as sold it is intended for a 3450 rpm motor. my motor is 1725 rpm and I actually like the slower speed better. might even opt for graduated pulleys to be able to change speeds. hardly a deal breaker! I love the sander

Answer:	I'm sure there are others better qualified then myself to answer this. I have both reels, the short of it is the size and line capacity I use 20lb. line on the 6500 and 40lb on the 7000. I love both but both have a different purposes. It's all about the size of fish you plan to catch and the environment your fishing. If your like me I always plan to land that 100lb catfish and if I ever hook him I hope its on my 7000 reel and my heavy 8' Rippin Lipps rod. But most of the time the 6500 is a little easier to use with the lighter line and when hooking the less then 20lb. fish a lot more sport in getting them in. I hope this help.
