2 best homelite gas blowers
HOMELITE is a well-known brand in the outdoor power equipment industry, and they produce a range of gas blowers designed for various outdoor tasks, particularly leaf blowing. Here's what you should know about HOMELITE gas blowers:
Leaf Blowing and Beyond: HOMELITE gas blowers are primarily designed for blowing leaves and debris in yards and gardens. They are particularly useful during the fall season for clearing fallen leaves. However, they can also be used for other tasks like clearing grass clippings, dirt, and light snow.
Gas-Powered: These blowers are typically powered by gasoline engines, which provide the necessary power for efficient blowing. Gas-powered blowers offer mobility and don't require a power cord, making them suitable for larger outdoor areas.
Handheld and Backpack Models: HOMELITE offers both handheld and backpack-style gas blowers. Handheld models are more compact and suitable for smaller jobs, while backpack blowers provide more power and are comfortable for extended use.
Engine Power: The power of HOMELITE gas blowers can vary depending on the model. Higher-powered blowers are capable of handling heavier tasks and larger areas. Engine displacement is often used as an indicator of power.
Air Velocity and Volume: These blowers are designed to provide high air velocity and volume, allowing you to move leaves and debris effectively. The specific airspeed and air volume vary among different models.
Easy Starting: HOMELITE typically incorporates features like Easy Start technology to make it simpler to start the gas blower. This can be especially helpful for users who may not be familiar with gas-powered equipment.
Ergonomic Design: The design of HOMELITE blowers often focuses on user comfort and ease of use. Features such as padded handles and adjustable straps on backpack models enhance comfort during operation.
Variable Speed Control: Many models come with variable speed control, allowing users to adjust the airspeed to match the task at hand. Lower speeds can be used for lighter jobs, while higher speeds are suitable for heavy-duty tasks.
Maintenance: Proper maintenance is essential to keep your HOMELITE gas blower running smoothly. This includes regular cleaning, checking and changing air filters, and ensuring the fuel mixture is correct for 2-stroke engines if applicable.
Safety Features: HOMELITE gas blowers typically include safety features such as a throttle lock for continuous operation and a cruise control function for ease of use.
Accessories and Parts: Replacement parts and accessories, such as air filters, spark plugs, and extension tubes, are often available to help maintain and enhance the performance of your gas blower.
HOMELITE gas blowers are designed to make outdoor cleanup tasks more efficient and less labor-intensive.They are suitable for homeowners and professionals alike, and the choice of model depends on the size of the area you need to maintain and your specific requirements.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it come with a bag |
Answer: | 12" 40v 2ah. I spent 3 days cutting down and cutting up a 25-foot flowering pear tree. Cut all the limbs off the first day ( about 60 limbs ) on one battery. Put the battery on the charger overnight and then cut down the 14" trunk and cut it into small enough pieces to throw in the truck on one battery. The next day I cut up all the limbs into bite-size pieces to put into the fire pit, on one battery. I would say they last long enough to do almost anything around the house. So unless you're a lumberjack I would say this is plenty for small to medium size jobs. |
Question: | Is this 2 stroke |
Answer: | Not all Greenworks Batteries. Only the G-max batteries listed. For instance, the batteries listed with my Greenworks lawnmower is a 29302 for one of them and it is not listed as one that works. |
Question: | will not start |
Answer: | Yes |
