Answer:	Since it has a stainless steel "pot" that fits inside of the plastic crock pot, the only bpa concern would be the lid to the pot. I am not near the unit now and unable to confirm whether the lid is bpa free or not. Since it is a newer unit, I would assume it is, but will update this comment when able to verify.

Answer:	Maybe. Since the ratio of brown rice to water is about 1 cup rice: 2 cup water the volume of pot is maxed out prior to cooking. Water and brown rice is full to the top. If you cook more than 1 cup brown rice you should get a larger capacity cooker. The measuring cup supplied with the cooker is 6 ounces full, rather than standard US 8 ounce cup of measurement.

Answer:	The 5 qt crock pot is round. My bread and cake bake pan with metal lid will fit inside tightly, but its too tall. The glass lid will not sit on top correctly. I even tried taking the handle off the metal bake pan lid and the glass lid still wouldn't sit on top correctly. My meat rack also wouldn't fit inside. You might check out the 6 qt round crock pot.

You may need to reset your slow cooker. To do this, simply hold down the select and power buttons for 30 seconds while it is plugged in. You will then want to unplug the unit and plug it back in. However, we tested it by holding it under a heavy shower for 5 minutes, and the light performed very well. No water got inside the light, and it was working throughout the entire test. While it might withstand an occasional rain or two, we recommend you store it in a dry place when you're not using it.

Answer:	The older IPs have water markings for rice cooking like a rice cooker (mine for instance does - bought in 2016), the newer ones don't because people got confused about it and didn't know what it was supposed to be. So IP did away with the markings. ItThe Instant Pot still works very well for cooking rice, though - you will have to find out about time and rice to water ratio yourself, because not everybody likes his rice the same way. For measuring rice and water use the small plastic cup that comes with the IP (same type that comes with rice cookers). With white rice you can use the "rice" setting, with all types of brown rice use the "pressure cook" setting. I like my rice moist and soft so I use 1 cup of rice to two cups of water for brown rice and cook for 22 min.

Answer:	The cooking pot itself is stainless steel, and very easy to clean. There are two normal ways for your reference. 1. After cooking, you could place stainless steel inner pot in sink and fill with soapy water, then clean by hand last after cleaning up the kitchen, a simple swish swish with a clean sponge or brush is all it takes. This way will be more easier. 2. You could cook with at least 1/2 c water in it, preferably 2c. Then clean by hand after the water become cold. 3. Hint, if you do burn something on the bottom or get a sticky mess, you could soak inner pots with a couple tablespoons of baking soda and hot water over night will often lift whatever has been stuck.
