Answer:	No, it does not. I would avoid this tape measure because the locking mechanism sucks and the tape won't stay extended on its own. AVOID.

Question:	Is this tape measure self-locking
Answer:	There is a part that has a zipper where you can keep them covered but the other half where you see the pockets on the outside stay uncovered and the other big pocket stays closed with a Velcro attachment. I place my brushes in the big Velcro pocket and they are fine
Question:	How well do the numbers stay on? I measure on a wet saw so my tapes always rust and fade away
Answer:	This is a heat resistant bag. It seems a bit smaller than it states but it is a nice bag.

Answer:	Yes! I use the places on the front to hold all of my products. The back zipper part easily fits my hairdryer, curling iron, flat iron. The large front spot with velcro flap holds all of my brushes, combs, clips etc. there is a lot more space in this bag then it seems.

Answer:	It does have a small dip in it but, mine doesn't dip more than 1-2 inches.
