User questions & answers

Question: Does this arrangement come assembled? How is it packaged
Answer: In the description it notes that the vase comes with the arrangement...mine came unassembled, with the bamboo well wrapped with water, the medium (porous "rocks") in a separate bag and the vase securely sealed in bubble wrap. All I had to do was put the bamboo in the vase, arrange the medium around the bamboo and add water. Some of the reviewers said the vase they received was not as pictured. Mine was exactly as pictured and I love it!! Make sure to put it in a spot that does not receive direct sun - they love light, but not direct sunlight - it burns the tips and they don't grow as well. Hope this helps. Oh yes, I've had mine for over a year and it has doubled in size and is looking great. In all I have 6 Lucky Bamboo plants I bought on Amazon.com and they are all growing like wildfire!
Question: Am i suppose to keep the plant in the squishy soil that it comes in, once I put it in the vase with water
Answer: I just put them in water. They're STILL doing fine.
Question: Does it include all spiral bamboo
Answer: Two of the stalks were spiraled and the other 5 were straight. I think the one they shipped me looks better than the one they have pictured.
Question: Does it come with rocks or soil for the bamboo? I ordered this as a gift and it did not come with anything to hold the bamboo. Thank you
Answer: no, just the bamboo and container. you don't need soil - I had some left over gravel that I put in the container to hold it up. you can get that at Walmart Joannes etc.

User questions & answers

Question: Can i grown and keep this plant in a hotel room
Answer: Yes if some sun light comes there need little watering. Not too much sun and not too much water. OK
Question: What size planter does it require and does the planter require a drainage hole
Answer: The size of the pot depends on where you are going to set the plant. What ever size you choose this plant will grow into it. I never purchase pots without a drainage hole.
Question: My jade plant leans over is that good? If not what can i do to fix it
Answer: Just like one of your previous answers,,every plant will lean toward direct sun/that is why every 3-4 days rotate (turn the pot around) aprox 180 degrees or 1 fourth..
Question: is it okay to leave this plant in the soil it was shipped in or does it need to be repotted? If so what is best type of soil (mixture?) to repot in
Answer: I received my 3 beautiful jade babies on 6/11. They are still in the original pots because I had surgery. They are doing wonderful and have grown close to 2 inches in the 7 weeks (I spray soil with a little water once in a while). They really could be transplanted but will have to wait a couple more weeks. I would let them get acclimated to their new home before transplanting for sure. I'm going to use succulent soil but any good, well draining soil is fine I think. I hope this helps.

Once used you should reseal the paints with the small plastic cover to keep them fresh and it also helps to keep the kit in a sealed bag. I hope that helps :)
Question: Will it bloom this winter indoor if I buy now
Answer: Hi there! You can use the stencils about 3 to 5 times depending on how careful you are with them. They are adhesive stencils so will eventually run out of their adhesive quality. I hope that helps :)

  • 9GreenBox 3 Different Aloe Plants - Easy to grow/Hard to Kill! that you will be receiving in your purchase is potted in a 3.25'' size pot
  • Proudly Homegrown and Taken Care of 9GreenBox

User questions & answers

Question: what kind of light do they need
Answer: Indirect sun light. I have them in my patios and they look so good now I just water them twice a week very low maintenance
Question: Can they be grown in a potting soil such as Miracle-Gro, or do they need sand and rocks? Or what
Answer: They have a cactus mixture you can buy at the same place you buy miracle-gro. Regular potting mixture stays too wet, and pure sand isn't good either. The cactus mixture has dirt and stuff so it doesn't pack down.
Question: can you use them for scar treatment? If so, how? I heard pure plant aloe works great for scars
Answer: Aloe vera gel is gleaned from the leaves of the aloe vera plant. People have used it for centuries to treat skin infections, burns, wounds and other kinds of skin conditions. Due to its soothing, moisturizing and healing properties, aloe vera gel can be applied to scars to help the skin repair itself as well as lessen irritation.Scars result when your skin begins healing after an injury that damages its surface, such as a cut or scrape. The size, shape, color and severity of your scar will depend on several factors such as your age, skin color, genetics and other types of skin conditions. While no topical treatments can make your scars vanish, applying a gel such as aloe vera to the skin may help lessen the severity of your scar's appearance, as well as keep your skin moisturized while it heals.Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties that cut down on skin irritations, as well as help your wounds rid themselves of dead skin, according to the Huntington College of Health Sciences. The college goes on to say that aloe vera can lessen surface swelling and help repair damaged skin cells, as well as protect newer, healthier ones. Aloe vera is able to penetrate deeply into the skin to moisture it and help increase the amount of collagen your skin produces to promote healing.
Question: How do I care for the plants? I have them 14 inchesunder a fluorescent light in my office. Our office is typical, no open windows, pumped in air
Answer: The most important thing is not to overwater them. I transferred them into slightly larger pots with 1" of gravel on the bottom and succulent/cactus soil on top--this ensures good drainage so the roots never end up standing in water, which is pretty much the only thing these plants can't tolerate. Water every 2 weeks or so--let the soil dry out completely between watering. They can tolerate drought way better than overwatering. Give them some plant food every so often--I get a kind that I can dissolve in water so it's 2 birds with 1 stone. They're very tolerant and hardy plants and just need a minimum of care. Enjoy!
