I wouldn't have them put their entire body weight on it but we have had it lined with full bottle of alcohol and 2 liter bottles of pop and it has been fine. I would make sure you put the lower shelf in because I think it helps to secure the entire thing. Hope this helps you.

Answer:	The table top surface is 15" x 39" and is about 4" thick when folded up and put in the storage bag. The legs fold and the shelf goes in. Now it comes with 3 skirts, so depending on your folding skills(mine not the best) result may very, but not much.

Coffee cups, extra kcup boxes, coffee grinder, etc on the bottom two shelves. Probably not more than 22 lbs of items on the whole cart.
