Answer:	It’s not possible for it to come off because it has a metal ring that fits underneath the lid to keep it on. When the lid is on it’s secure and won’t come off. With that being said every time you remove the lid it comes off. It doesn’t attach and just stay on like you would assume unless you are using a lid with a straw. If you are using a lid that you have to take off completely to drink every single time that means you also have to hold onto the metal ring of the string handle so it doesn’t fall off while you’re drinking. Hopefully this is very descriptive and helps you out!

Answer:	No my paracord didnt come with reknotting instructions I think your best bet would be to YouTube how to reknot or fix a paracord.
Question:	How do i get the ring under the lip of my wide hydroflask? it leaks if i put it above the lip. it's not streching enough even if i loosen it
Answer:	I used a heat gun set to about 350 (low) and warmed it slightly. That softened the plastic and enlarged it. I slipped it over the lip and when it cooled it contracted back around it like it was fit t the factory. You cold do the same with a hair dryer set to high, probably. Don't use a flame.
Question:	Is this compatible with the iron flask brand
Answer:	I can’t say that I’m 100% certain but amost all double-walled bottles such as HydroFlask, Takeya, IronFlask and others have compatible accessories. If I had an IronFlask I wouldn’t have any doubts and would get the paracord handle! I have a 64oz Takeya and a 32oz Hydroflask. Both have Takeya insulated lids and Waterfit paracord handles. A fair warning: be prepared to have your patience tested! The plastic ring is a b*tch to put on! From reading the comments, due to their dismay, other buyers think they are convinced that the ring is too small. In actuality it does fit! The fact that it is difficult to install is one reason why you would know that the handle won’t come undone even in the most rugged conditions!

If it was produced prior to 2015 then you may have an issue, otherwise, it should fit all Wide Mouth Hydration Hydro Flask bottles. Question:	Why are there no purple hydroflasks? And lilac is not purple
Answer:	Hello - Wendy from Tall Ridge here - Thank you for your inquiry! Hydro Flask introduces and discontinues colors every Spring. In the past, they had Acai and Plum. In 2019 they introduced Lilac as their tone of purple and in 2020 they have Fog which is a gray with a hint of blueish-purple. We shall have to wait and see if they come out with a new purple shade for Spring 2021. I hope that is helpful!
Question:	Does the hydro flask lifetime warranty work even though i purchased through amazon? i can only see an option to refund
Answer:	I do not know how the warranty works, haven't had to use. Hydro flask is made pretty tough all metal and strong plastic or poly urethane. I don't see anyone damaging it with normal use. Being kid proof is always another story. Amazon has always been good at replacing things.

The dishwasher can get hot enough to affect the insulation property of the flask as well as discolor the powder coat. Similarly, soaking your entire flask in hot water can discolor the powder coat. We recommend hand washing them with hot, soapy water, rinsing and allowing them to dry. Answer:	Hi there - Our gaskets (3 models of them) do fit Hydro Flask Wide Mouth - Flex Cap, Straw Lid, and Hydro Flip. For the Hydro Flip, we improved the dimensions and design to provide a even tighter fit. The diameter is designed to be smaller since the original gaskets had a lot of leak problems (see Hydro Flask's own Hydro Flip webpage on this issue). Ours is a tighter fit and it flexes so all customers have to do is slightly stretch it to get it into the cap and use the tool to push the gasket in securely. Once it is in, it will provide an excellent seal.

Answer:	Great question as selecting the wrong gasket is the most common mistake from customers. Hydro Flask make a variety of wide mouth lids. And each of them use different gaskets. The shape and diameters are different. Most of the negative reviews we have are from people not buying the correct gasket for their caps. Either they don't realize not all Hydro Flask wide mouth gaskets are different or they do not know the type of cap that they have and selected the wrong one. TIP: Search for the name of the wide mouth cap that you have. They are usually Flex Cap, Hydro Flip, or Straw Lid. Flex Cap is the one with the handle. Hydro Flip is a distinctive flipper (also known as the coffee lid). And the Straw Lid is the one that has a straw. IMPORTANT: Please select the correct cap style on this page.
