Answer:	You can use any rechargeable AA batteries for this radio. They can be purchased at Amazon or any place else that sell batteries. But there two things you need to know, one these batteries are not cheap. The other is you need to have the power cord to charge the batteries with. If you do not have this cord bring it to radio shack they will have it. Good luck with the radio.

Answer:	The SDS200 unit had better digital reception, more features and better circuitry than that older discontinued model you mention. The SDS200 can also receive Phase 2 digital systems, which the 197 can't do, and with optional firmware update the SDS200 can monitor DMR and ProVoice Digital, which the 197 can't do.

Answer:	If you put the memory stick in a computer to drive it, it will. I haven't tried it without the computer.

Answer:	We are using our EX6220 on a 10ftX10ft screen and it holds the focus fine with a 4X3 aspect setting. Haven't tried anything bigger. We have also used the projector on a 16X9 aspect setting on same screen and the focus was fine for us. No problems so far.Dennis
