Answer:	I just purchased these bulbs prior to Halloween and tried them in my window candles that were automatic on at dusk and automatic off at dawn (electric eye), they were not as bright as the candles that you switch on and off. I thought it might be the auto-sensor candles that I had, so I bought new ones. The new ones were also not as bright. I also tried other colors from this company and got the same results. So as long as they are not auto sensor window candles they work fine!
