Answer:	Did you use this film and find out that the remote beams DO penetrate the film?

Answer:	I have used for my car windows in summer and I never even considered using any type of solution to apply. I put it on and took it off all the time - almost every day. There is no need for a solution except to make it appear less bubbles? I would just roll it up and throw it in the trunk. Once in a while I had to wipe it down and dry it with 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils or dust which keep it from sticking well. It’s totally permanently reusable if you do this. You can make front windows 5% and use them only when parked. The real value of this static stuff is removability. Forget the spray and soap etc if you are going to use it this way. Maybe in an apartment but that’s it.

Answer:	That is exactly what we are using it for. Yes, with very little effort, it does come off. I also left a some extra along the side to make it even easier to take down. Also, make sure you use either the Gila Solution or a baby shampoo/water mixture when you put it on the window. Good luck.

Answer:	The only thing I see when I stand outside my window is the light and if you walk right in front of window you can tell its a person but not very clearly. If I had neeighbors I would not rely on it for total privacy at night. During the day you cant see inside at all.

Where to use?

-The static cling decor window film applies to any smooth glass surface, it can be trimmed or combined to fit any size window.

Installation Step:

1. Cut film to required size, about 1 inch larger than the window

2. Clean the glass surface

3. Use the spray bottle wet the glass with water, more water more better (JUST WATER, NOT USE GLASS CLEANER)

4. Peel off the back protective film (Sometime you will find it is difficult to tear off the protective film, you can try to tape the two sides with adhesive tape then peel off)

5. Stick film on glass (Put the smooth side to window, don’t put the frosted side to the window)

6. Scrape a few more times with squeegee or abandoned credit cards to ensure the bubbles and water are completely removed

7. Trim the margin and cut off the excess edges

Tips:

1. This film is suitable for smooth, flat clean glass surface. Do not use on rough, uneven, frosted glass or other material.

2. Please make sure to peel off the backing film before applying and apply the smooth side of film to glass. Otherwise it will not be firmly adhered.

3. This window film can show the colors when the light is going through or reflected, so usually you can’t see the colors of window film before install.

Spray a lot of soapy water is the key point.

• Before applying, remember to tear off the protective film. (Please stick a tape on the film's corner to peel off the clear backing from the film)
• Spray more soapy water on the glass and surface of the film, the more water, the better, and scrape all the bubbles out with a squeegee.
• Cut the film to a size of 2mm from the window frame, pick up a corner at the edge, re-spray and paste, and scrape the bubble.

Answer:	This is a static cling film, but it's advised to use the Application Solution, as it helps for you to position the film.

Answer:	The way It was explained to me once was the number is the amount of light that is allowed to come into the vehicle. So 20% is saying that 20% of the outside light will come inside your vehicle. Or 5% of outside light will transfer into the vehicle. The 5% is way darker than the 20%. Also just so you know, 5% tint is pretty hard to see outside at night. Meaning you will have trouble seeing things outside at night through your tint. I myself put 5% on my back windows and put 20% on the front side windows. That way you can still see people or animals crossing the street from your front side windows. If you put the 5% on your front side windows you will pretty much be only able to view things out of your windshield at night. It’s like having side blinders on. So I recommend 5% only for the back half of your vehicle to be safe. Also I would check on your local laws on tint. It can be an expensive ticket if the police pull you over for too dark tint. Sometimes they write you a ticket for each window that has the illegal tint. Good luck and Happy tinting.

Question:	What is the point of more expensive "Peel & Cling" vs. the adhesive version? That you can take it off and re-use
Answer:	It stays closed...bugs can't get through, but a dog or cat can.
Question:	I've never used this, but do you put it on thre inside of the window? Or outside
Answer:	There are no rod holders in the box (I purchased this in April 2019) and the rod slid down immediately. So I guess I’m off to Home Depot tomorrow...and I’m not thrilled about putting screws into a brand new patio door. I’ll try something that just sticks on first. So far not impressed with this item.
Question:	does this film distort view from inside? does it appear mirror like from outside
Answer:	It is adjustable. The "curtain rod" that comes with it can be made larger, or slightly smaller, and has rubber tips to keep it firmly in place. I hang mine, then adjust the rod to be as tight as possible. I've had 4 dogs run outside and not knock this down. Also, there are 2 slots at the top where you can place the rod to give an extra 1+ inches of length if needed.
Question:	Does it matter which side goes on the glass as far as affecting the reflectivity/heat control? Also, the edges and corners are curling up after I placed it as instructed. Any tips
