Answer:	Your laptop is like mine. It has an output for sound but a different one for mic. On mine I see a green plug and a red plug. The 1st one is for the sound and the 2nd for the mic. Answer:	A small, cheap usb DAC adapter probably won't work well for these. They need a bit of power to drive them properly. Power supplied solely from a PC USB port probably won't be enough (500mA max for USB 2.0 and 900mA max for USB 3.0). You will get much better results from an external audio interface and/or a headphone amp.
Question:	comfort
Answer:	They are very comfortable for the first hour or so. I sometimes wear my glasses rather than my contact lenses while using these headphones, and have found that with glasses the comfortable period is much shorter due to pressure on the wire earpieces. The The coiled cable is fairly long, and if you move around in a chair while using these with a laptop, the cable will eventually snare you. The cable connects to the left earphone, and if your earphone connector is on the right side of your computer, receiver, TV or whatever, that means the cable has to be draped across the front of your body. You could reverse the phones on your head, but that would put the left channel into your right ear and vice versa. There's probably a way to reverse channels to correct this.
Question:	How is noise leakage out of these headphones? I am interested in using them for vocal recording so mix leaking out is a no-no
Answer:	Even with loud volumes, the leakage is generally non-existent. The volume needs to be uncomfortably loud for me to start hearing a very slight sound leak.
Question:	Are these a good choice for listening to music at home? I work from home, and I need music to concentrate
Answer:	I love these headphones for listening to music as well as TV. I had a pair of MDR-V6 phones I bought from Tower Records in Nashville years and years ago in the early 90s that just died after almost 30 years of service, and these are very very similar. These don't have quite the bass that the V6s did, and the highs are a little brighter, but that will be in my best interest if they last me 20+ years like the V6s did! There's a reason the MDR7506s became an industry standard soon after they were released by Sony in 1991 and it's not because they're bad to listen to. If you want to listen to your music the way the engineers and artists probably heard it in production, grab a pair of these. Hit YouTube and watch the in-studio recordings of Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales songs and look at the headphones everybody is wearing. Everybody. Mix of both MDR-V6 and MDR7506, the MDR-V6s having been released six years earlier in 1986. All the way up to current times like the video for "Times Like These" with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Ellie Goulding and all those other artists that was released a few weeks ago had a couple of people wearing them. That's longevity. I found that they are more comfortable with the aftermarket lambskin leather earpads that you can find for around $20. They aren't super easy to put on, but are very comfortable. I love the headphones for listening to music as well as television when I don't want to keep people up at night.

Answer:	I have a Hiby r3, Hiby r6 Pro and a FIIO X3 II. The FIIO has significantly more power and drives the T50RP rather well. I am modding the T50RP to balanced to see if the Hiby's can provide more juice that way. I don't like running 100% volume for not enough drive strength. FIIO is a strong little bugger!

Answer:	The T50RP is the semi open model and considered the most neutral sounding. The T20RP is the open back model and considered to have the most bass. The T40RP are the closed back model. Have to say, the difference in listening experience is pretty noticeable between the two....love my MDR-V6 phones (crystal clear at all frequencies, where the MDR-ZX310 struggled with high end and muddied low end frequencies more than I care to experience over the long haul.)

You can change the Automatic Power Off setting in the Headphones Connect app from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 3 hours or, if you want Noise Canceling to stay on all the time, just simply tap Do not turn off. The WH-1000XM4 can do everything that the Pulse 3D can do and has many additional features. The sound quality, microphones, noise cancelation, comfort, build quality, battery life, charging speed, and wireless pairing of the WH-1000XM4 are superior in every way compared to the Pulse 3D. The PS5's 3D audio will work with the XM4s. I have had the XM3 model for 2 years and I absolutely love them. They work great with my PS4.
