Answer:	On straight needles the metric size is pressed on the needle shaft about 2 inches from the head. The circular needles are marked mid shaft on just one of the two needle ends. Size marking are pretty visible on larger needles; but pretty hard to see on smaller sizes (4mm and smaller). All circular needles are 24 inches long.

Answer:	No. For airport use, we did lay the bassinet as flat as possible, removed the baby's handle bar and placed the carseat inside. It was stable enough if we were always next to him, so we could get thru airport security. But definitely not possible to actually securely connect a carseat.

It is very comfortable even for extended use while birding, watching soccer, still hunting. I don't like the cup holder location - not functional for me. Grommets are bright but a black industrial Sharpie marker fixed that. The higher seat and solid arms make it a breeze to get out of even for us oldsters. Pricey but worth it.
