Answer:	Yes. Radar uses radio waves which bounce around the environment causing all radar detectors to detect radar in 360° (just as your radio detects radio stations in 360°). Detectors that use "360" in their name have arrows which point to the radar source. The RAD 450 does not have directional arrows. RAD 450 does have an IVT Filter. It filters out many radar based vehicle safety systems.

Answer:	You are not gonna hide the spiral stretch wire very easily. If you use hard wire kit and it's mounted up high on the windshield then you can run the wire under the edge of the trim and to the fuse panel. That's what I did.

Answer:	Standard USB ports only deliver around 5 volts. Most detectors need 12 volts, which is what the cigarette lighter socket supplies.

Answer:	As the other gentleman said, it's a radar detector, not a cop detector. It will only go off when you detect a police officer using his radar gun. Whether hand-held or the stationery type that operate as the police car is stopped or even driving. But when an officer isn't actually doing speed checks, they often turn the radar unit off. Even then, not all police cars are equipped with radar. A lot of police agencies may only have less than 10% of their units equipped with radar.

Answer:	I believe if you order the correct size, it will. I was very surprised by the "stickiness" of the tabs. Quite possibly better than the diapers I remember for my boys 20 years ago!

Answer:	Probably not. My cat had to wear these for about a month and I only had to bathe her once, and that was because the diaper wasn't positioned correctly (she was trying to remove it) and some poop got stuck to the fur on her rear end. I did wipe her down with some wipes a few times.

Question:	Which one is better? I'm debating either to get the Escort 9500ix or Passport Max 2. Which one would you guys recommend
Answer:	The escort 9500ix is the older inferior version of Escort ix, for all radar testing companies the Max 2 is the superior to both by far. The surprising thing is that the Max 2 is currently $50 cheaper than the IX. But radar detector prices fluctuate for random reasons, a month ago the IX was selling for $348 today it was selling for $499

Answer:	Honestly, I purchased the Passport MaxII HD over the 360 for two reasons. First was almost $250 price difference. Second the 360 should be immune to RDD before it is worth more than the Redline. If you feel you need the arrows then invest in the 360. My Passport MaxII HD falses so infrequently that I just check my speed when it does and since it is so sensitive I watch the signal for escalation...
Question:	Does the Max2 come with a sticky cup windshield mount
Answer:	Yes, but be aware, if you drive a fairly shaky vehicle (2014 Mustang GT with no cats), I had the unit split in half from the vibrations. I am currently using packing tape to hold the units halves together, but still seems to be working like a champ.
Question:	How is Max2 at filtering out K band false alerts from collision avoidance systems installed in modern cars
Answer:	The short answer.... its debatable. The medium answer; Escort's Passport Max 2 filters out dynamic/moving false K (and even Ka) band ON PAR/equal footing with Escort's competitors (namely Valentine and it's V1). No real star has emerged yet regarding this topic in the field of radar detectors. The long answer; Every radar detector currently on the market struggles with dynamic/moving false radar emissions such as collision avoidance systems installed on modern cars and have, as of current, only use tricks such as desensitizing the unit slightly, or making the unit slower to alert to deal with this growing problem. This problem will only get worse as more and more cars are manufactured, bought and used with this technology as time goes on. The only area (regarding eliminating false alerts) the Max (or any other current radar detector with GPS) really shines is locking out static/stationary/not moving false alerts such as your local grocery store or Walmart. Escort has touted that the Max is "intelligent" and "understands the makup of a signal" and can sort out the non threatening radar and only alert to the legit, speed observing radar equipment. However, test after test and real world experience from us enthusiasts and other real world users like yourself, has shown that there is NO REAL EVIDENCE of the Max using ANY intelligence in understanding a signal (other then locking out static, regularly present emitted radar sources through onboard GPS). This experience has shown a number of people that the Max is NOT "a quiet experience in a world of noise" like Escort's marketing claims, especially when it comes to dynamic/moving false/non police radar emitting equipment/technology such as collision avoidance systems on cars. Escort has promised firmware updates over the year(s) on the Max to address this (and other) issues but it has been little more then "empty promises" from them regarding this. There is always that hope that they will do something with the firmware, but too many people have been holding their breath for to long because Escort initially made it seem that really limiting these dynamic/moving false alerts (as well as improving the Max's features and performance) were really right around the corner and just within reach. A few years have passed and while the rough edges have been somewhat sanded down, the Max remains close to what it was when in came out the gate, despite promises. That Max 2 is a great detector (I own one, an original Max, a Redline and a Passport X50) and I recommend the Max but it is currently not that great at eliminating these sources of false alerts (despite what Escort says), nor is any other detector from any other manufacturer currently. Answer:	Im not satisfied with mine.Its detection is all over the place therefore I can't really tell what it's doing...
Question:	Does this avoid the lane change and proximity detectors from the new model cars? My old one is picking them up and it's annoying
Answer:	I'm not exactly qualified to answer your question directly but I can say that it has artificial intelligence and if it detects alarms (i.e. stores or administration buildings) once in a familiar route, it will not constantly beep. For the value and performance, it's the best on the market. Google search top 10 detectors and it's #3 with #1 and #2 costing alot more.

Answer:	Sorry just got to this. It comes with suction cup mount for window and a dc plug for plugging Into an acc socket for power.
Question:	How does this unit compare in effective early warning detection with the XTR-435 model from Whistler
Answer:	To be completely honest, the XTR-435 from whistler works much better. The CR85 works decent enough but not as effectively as the XTR model which I highly recommend. :)

Answer:	Yes it does. Windscreen suction mount.

Answer:	They will pick up the same bands.
Question:	does the detecter only detect when the triger on the laser gun is pulled
Answer:	Yes because until the trigger is pulled the radar gun is not transmitting ANY kind of signal to detect
Question:	does the mute feature quiet all bands including laser
Answer:	It does. I'm not sure why you would mute though. I have loud music when i drive and have this thing turned all the way up. Pretty dang accurate so far. Cops turn off their speed lasers sometimes until your right next to them.
