I'm happy with the wipes and with knowing that I'm lessening the exposure of my grand daughter and myself to harmful chemicals. I suggest that you look at the ewg.org website (skin deep), it lists the ingredients and rates the ingredients for their toxicity.

Answer:	They are like a cloth. If you get them take them out of the bag and put into a container. Half of mine had black stuff on/in them. My daughter had a horrible fungal infection from it.
