Answer:	Hello - I generally buy a cotton/poly blend - it is durable and quite easily found. Coates & Clarke is a vey well known brand. Answer:	I used regular needles like I do for my regular singer machine.
Question:	Will I be able to use it for jeans, to narrow leg and hemming
Answer:	No the motor isn’t strong enough to go through a rolled hem on the jean.

Answer:	You won't find "NEX" brand as they don't manufacture needles. The ones that come with this machine are "Organ" needles, which you can find online. Keep in mind that the shank of needles from different companies can be different shapes. This machine uses needles in which the shank is flat on the back. Some needles (and I think Singer might be one...) are completely round on the shank and you cannot use that kind with this machine. Hope that helps a bit!

Answer:	It is centimeters on it, we will do inches later.

Answer:	I've used polymer clay on this and it didn't stick to the surface. The most "stickiest" thing I've used was crafter's tape when making cards. The crafter's tape will stick to the surface but you can easily rub it off the mat. I really love this mat and it gets the most use in my craft room.

Question:	Is this sewing machine running at 220 volts
Answer:	Just 110. Normal household electrical.
Question:	Will the stitches fall out? I have a machine that is double-threaded and the stitches are not secure
Answer:	There is only one spindle for the thread spool. It is designed for only a single thread. I have tried to double thread this machine using a double needle. The second "spool" on top was actually a bobbin set in the bobbin winder. The timing and position of the threads were wrong and a secure stitch was not the result. Singer makes a machine that appears to have a place for two spools, but not this brand. This little machine does a good job. Just don't ask it to do something beyond its capability.

Answer:	Regular- like any other standard machine.
Question:	does it have an on / off button for the power
Answer:	No it doesn’t. Once plugged in the machine, however, is ready to operate with the foot pedal. My eight year old granddaughter loves her machine, she has made several things with it.

Question:	Is Janome new home portable machine graceful gray for kids ages 10 and above
Answer:	It is absolulety ideal for young kids learning to sew. It has a nice safety guard on the presser foot, which protects little fingers. I would definately recommend this machine for any kids aged from 8 yrs. old, and older.
Question:	what type of needle brand goes with this brand
Answer:	Only uses size 12 & 14 sewing needles (recommended)
Question:	Does it sew in reverse
Answer:	It sews in reverse but so far the bobin wasn't loaded on machine correctly so it won't sew any direction correctly for me. I am going to check a new bobin filled by a bobin winder to see if that fixes the issue.
Question:	Is there a light? One review said no light--just wondering if this is true or not
Answer:	It does not come with a built-in light.
