Answer:	My baby is 8 months now. He is starting to crawl and lifting himself up by holding onto the bars, trying to cross over to our bed. So it's time to remove the bassinet! You will know when it gets dangerous for them :)

Answer:	Do not add any additional mattresses to a pack and play. It is very dangerous. Babies are supposed to sleep on a firm surface so you do not need to get an extra mattress for comfort.

Answer:	For the safety of your child we do not recommend using any after-market mattress or extra soft buntings in our playards. Unlike cribs which have rigid sides, the playard has flexible sides and playard mattresses are specially designed to prevent suffocation. Using a thicker or a different sized mattress/pad may allow a child's head to get between mattress/pad and the side of the playard causing suffocation.Please find additional information including downloadable manuals and instructional videos on our website www.gracobaby.com.

Answer:	It comes with a pad. The side of the pack n play states not to add a supplemental mattress. The mattresses they sell for the pnp are unsafe. Just the pad it comes with.

Best of all, it fits the Graco Travel Lite crib nicely with many more color choices & cute designs to choose from (Who Loves You Owl & Safari were my 2 fave designs). For a waterproof solution, I purchased the LUCID 100% Waterproof Pillow Protector - QUEEN size. YES, a pillow protector!! For $14.99 I received 2 protectors with a cozy terry cloth top surface that does not change the feel or sound of the mattress. The fit is snug but the entire mattress fits inside this pillow case & zips closed. Just make sure to order the QUEEN size.

Answer:	Hi We used ours for about 8 weeks and it was secure and safe, before moving our baby to the bottom part for another 4 weeks before moving her to her own bedroom.

Answer:	I'm sorry but I can't be sure but babies roll over and it's always important that you use the matress it comes with to avoid suffocation when the baby does start to roll and move around. It was fine for my nephew he's about 3-4 months and still sleeps in the top part of the playpen. Sleeps through the night.
Question:	Is the bassinet/bouncer part a safe sleep space
Answer:	Yes. Both napper and changing station are removable. It is assumed that you will use the napper until the baby is old enough to start rolling over - then you take both napper and changing station off and use the bassinet.
Question:	Is the bassinet safe and secure enough for a newborn to sleep in overnight
Answer:	I liked using the napper outside of the pack n play and laying it on the sofa or bed as a soft place for baby to lay down on. I like the shade on it too to keep the light out of it's eyes. We did not use it as an overnight sleeper, because we were not sure it was good for the baby to not be on firm bedding, so we did not take the chance. The higher sleeping area is where he first slept. The baby will not sleep overnight anyways.

If you did a survey askin 100 people that question your stats in the end might be close.Graco is the top name in all sorts of baby equipment and a name I personally have stood by for nearly 40 yrs. They have update the pack n play to include a hammock and an option including a changing/carry cart. These options are amazing. I just bought 2! One for my daughter at her house, and one here at Grandma's house.There is nothing wrong with your baby sleeping in either the play pen or hammock. Answer:	Yes, it does. I use a pack and play size fitted mattress pad and sheet in my bassinet. We use this system full time. Changing sheets in the middle of the night is easier than scrubbing IMO.

Answer:	The changing mat (with pockets for diaper supplies) is separate, but the diaper changing section is connected to the bassinet, if that makes sense. As our baby got older we hoped to keep him in this pack n play in our room but wished to keep the changing area, so I just separated them with a knife which worked. Of course, this may be a liability.
Question:	Is the nest appropriate for a newborn
Answer:	Absolutely! I had a c section and couldn't do stairs for the first couple of weeks after the baby was born, so we used the pack and play bassinet on the first floor so he and I could sleep near each other. He loved it and it worked perfectly for us! Just be wary of the other models that have a newborn napper feature instead of bassinet - our pediatrician said those are not safe unless newborn is closely supervised. Hope that helps!
