The "waypoints" described in the listing are actually just a series of control input commands, not actual GPS waypoints like on high end drones. This does have "headless mode" which could be similar to a return home type function. The drone flies in relation to the pilot (i.e. pushing the control stick away from you causes the drone to fly away from you, so pulling the stick toward you would bring it back toward you). Answer:	The remote won't tell the height of the drone, but the app will tell the flight height and distance.

Answer:	In the app you can set range an altitude limits. The drone comes set up with the beginner limits turned on. Approximately 30m out and 30m high. The drone can be flown farther than you are able to see it visually. Not a good idea though. If you are in the US, you are not supposed to fly the drone higher than 400 feet above the ground. About 122 meters.
