Answer:	The magnet covers the entire back of animals. A 15 month old may find them fun. When you are in the kitchen, they can use them on the fridge or a metal cookie sheet. Question:	Does it include Christmas as a holiday choice
Answer:	Not exact but I would say three to four inches biggest piece. Smaller are the squares and triangles and they are maybe 1.5 two inches. I bought for my 7 year old but my 11 month plays with them too. The only problem I have with the baby playing with them he has two teeth and chews the paint off easily. So not too good for babies.

Answer:	I think it is more appropriate for a 2 year than 1 year. The animals are made from very sturdy material, probably not wood, and are covered in material that looks like hair. My great granddaughter was 2 when I got them for her. She loves them still and is nearly 4.

Answer:	My 2 year old is starting to learn how to lace, but still has some difficulty. I definitely think it'd be possible for a 3 and 4 year old.

Answer:	Yes, absolutely! 18 mo -2 years is the perfect age to introduce this toy. My daughter is also 18 months. She loves these beads but needs assistance lacing them. Over half the toys she plays with say 3+ for LIABILITY reasons, NOT because younger kids can't use them. While it may theoretically be possible for a child to wrap the lace around his or her neck or choke on a bead if they had an unusually large mouth, the chances of this happening with parents in the room is tiny.

Answer:	Yes! Easily! I just went and tried it for you and it fits with extra room around the pencil. You could even use a thicker tool if you wanted. Not quite as big around as a Sharpee marker but larger than a #2 pencil. Hope that helps. :)
