Answer:	Yes, the boots are very soft and cushiony. Our only concern has been the edges of the straps. There are two on each boot. The cushioning doesn't wrap around the strap and the fabric along the edges is a bit sharp. You must just be aware of this when they are being put on and taken off. But they are working very well for us otherwise.

Answer:	It is one boot because it is a piece of equipment. When you purchase a special shoulder sling because of an injury, you don't require a sling for the opposite shoulder. Likewise, this boot is is designed specifically for pressure sore recovery or prevention. That doesn't mean you automatically need it for the other foot, where those issues may not be a concern.

Answer:	Yes they worked great in my boss that were a bit loose. They stick very well to the back of the heel area and even though I was pushing the pad down when putting the shoes on they stayed in place. Make sure the boots will be easy to put on with the pads added. Unfortunately for this pair of boots this made it too difficult to put them on and I removed the pads the other day. Now I am back to loose bits which hurt my feet so I'll have to figure something else out.

Answer:	These cups are soft next to your heal. Overall very maleable product. The bottom has raised form pieces to provide shock absorbing. I found that my extreme heal pain was relieved immediately, and completely went away within a week. I highly recommend them, a very economical solution to a painful problem.
