Answer:	NO, there is still a high pitch ring when charging phone. I returned mine because of this. Purchased Oct 2020. There is a newer model sold on the Apple website that does not have this problem.

Answer:	Functionally the same. The Apple Store version has a high gloss plastic bezel around the base to enclose the oblong base and make it a rectangle. It makes it look a lot nicer. BUT, this high gloss plastic is VERY prone to light scratching (so just be warned). Also the iPhone wirelesss charging "stand" is not an oblong disk but round and elevated above the base by a metal rod. Again, a little nicer look, but functionally the same and about $25 more. And the last difference is the charging indicator on this version is on the right side of the charging stand (Apple Watch side) where-as the Apple Store version the little charge light is on the other side (left side)

Answer:	It automatically sets itself for the eastern time zone. If you live anywhere else you set it once with your time zone, it will change to the correct time (assuming it can get the radio signal) and that is all you will have to do unless you move to a different time zone.

Answer:	The light is not supposed to stay on. My daughter’s battery in her car has died 3 times within a year. We took the car to the mechanic and he told us the battery was dying due to the kit being bad. We took the car to a person who installs stereos and he just ordered a replacement kit from a local dealer. Therefore if there is any issues with the kit he can return it to them.

Answer:	This kit is made to keep your SYNC screen, if you want to remove SYNC I am not sure if the screen also goes away. The small screen is also used to tell you the outside temperature, etc.. Unless you install the Ford MySync 3 system on your car I don't think any other OEM makers offer a kit that allows you to get rid of this screen and offer the Temperature and Clock features on the DVD Stereo screen.

1. Press & hold (8 - Time) for 2 seconds to enter the time setup mode.

3. While Hour is blinking, press (2 - Up/Down) to adjust time and press (8 - Time) to confirm. The (15 - PM Indicator) will be on when the time is advanced to the PM time in the 12hr format.

4. While Minute is blinking, press (2 - Up/Down) to adjust time and press (8 - Time) to confirm and exit the time setup mode.

Alarm Set-Up

1. Press & hold (10 - Alarm 1) for 2 seconds to enter the alarm setup mode; the display will start blinking.

2. While Hour is blinking, press (2 - Up/Down) to adjust time and press (10 - Alarm 1) to confirm. The (15 - PM Indicator) will be in the 12hr format when the time is advanced to the PM time. While Minute is blinking, press (2 - Up/Down) to adjust time and press (10 - Alarm 1) to confirm.

3. Press (2 - Up/Down) to choose alarm source among (19 - Buzzer) or (20 - FM Radio) or (21 - Shaker) or (19 & 21 - Buzzer + Shaker) or (20 & 21 - FM Radio + Shaker). The selected source will start to blink. Press (10 - Alarm 1) to exit setting or set the alarm sound volume.

Sleep Timer Set-Up

1. Press (1 - Power) to turn on the audio function.

2. Press (4 - Bluetooth) or (6 - FM) to select desired audio source between Bluetooth or FM Radio. Press (3 - Sleep) to set the sleep timer while Bluetooth audio is playing. Continue to press (3 - Sleep) until you reach the desired timer from 10 to 90 (10 min intervals) and wait 5 seconds to keep the selected timer.

3. (25 - Sleep Indicator) will display once the sleep timer is set. The Bluetooth audio or FM Radio will automatically turned off if the set timer expires.

4. To turn off the timer, press (3 - Sleep) repeatedly until the value toggles to OFF and wait 5 seconds.

Bluetooth Set-Up

1. Press (1 - Power) to turn on the audio function.

2. Press (4 - Bluetooth) to select Bluetooth.

3. If the unit is turned on for the first time, it will enter Bluetooth Pairing mode automatically and the (26 - Bluetooth Indicator) will start to blink.

Answer:	I don't know if this helps since you asked the question a couple months ago, but if you read this and haven't bought one or another, then might be interested to know that my daughter hooked up her phone via Bluetooth to the iBT29BC while using Spotify. She put her song on pause, cut the alarm on. When the alarm went off, it un-paused her phone and continued playing the previously paused song through the alarm clock speaker. Hope this helps.
