Answer:	I believe that it is brushless. I have 2 of the nail guns and they are great. Works fast and sets the nails ever time. Battery lasts a long time as well.

Answer:	Ummm, yes, this is a finish nailer, big difference from a brad nailer. Make sure you are using 16 gauge 20 degree nails, not 15 gauge, and definitely not 18 gauge brads. This is a great nailer, but I'm not tossing out my Bostitch air nailers to replace it! This is a great supplement to the air nailers for small jobs that only last a day or so.
Question:	Have they sorted out the Low nail depth issue yet? After some use my contractors say it wont Drive 2-1/2 nails
Answer:	This is my second Dewalt finish nailer and I have never had any issues with it not driving 2 1/2" nails. That being said, if you are driving several 2 1/2 nails then you need to make sure you are working with a fully charged battery. I have noticed that if the battery gets to a 1/3 charge it will not drive 2 1/2" nails as deep. It also depends on the type of wood (hard or soft).
Question:	Can this be used for blind nailing tounge and groove paneling
Answer:	Yes but don't waste your money if you plan on using this gun a lot. I've had mine in the shop 3 times in the year I've owned it. Buy the 18 volt version is more powerful and breaks way less. I've used mine for the last 6 years at least. This new gun will not even drive 2 1/2" nails consistently through soft wood let alone any hard wood.

Question:	How does this perform on solid hardwood like oak or maple? My 18g Paslode performs great but I'm tired of fuel cells, and expensive repairs
Answer:	How much do you spend on repairs and fuel cells? do the math and see if it make sense for you. There is no ongoing cost for this exept nails and it seems to work pretty good, Im sure it would preform well on solid hardwood (it will go through a formica countertop no problem and into wood below it). It's a semi precision tool and it wont take much abuse, but overall it really has alot more power than i thought it would. I'd say go for it.

Answer:	I cannot get my 320 to work with Porter Cable 16 gauge x 2" "Straight Finish Nails." They have a slight "head" to the nail and it seems to stop the gun from working. I've tried adjusting the pressure with no effect.

This gun is designed to fasten trim to walls like baseboard, casing etc. A "framing gun" is designed for "framing"... Dewalt has battery framing guns, they're about $100 more. But don't buy one. The PE2118G features a 2-in-1 bottom-load magazine that is compatible with both 18 gauge brad nails (3/4” to 2”) and 18 gauge 1/4” narrow crown staples (3/4” to 1-5/8”) for maximum versatility. Select either the single firing mode on the side panel to ensure precise fastener placement, or switch to the bump fire contact mode for faster firing speeds. Use the tool-free depth adjustment wheel to customize the firing depth, making it easy to achieve consistent and professional results every time. The no-mar tip protects your work surface (extra no-mar tip included), while the work contact element and two-stage trigger protects the user from accidental firing.

Additional features include a low nail indicator, two built-in side lights for work in dimly lit areas, a built-in tool hook, an ergonomic grip, and easy access to clear jams so you can get back to work quickly. Red and green LED lights indicate when the battery is low, the tool is jammed, fasteners are low, or the tool is overheating.
