The fact that the grinders are so affordable it should not even matter much, unless you are thinking to buy it for 20+ years. I am working in a metal/fabrication shop as a welder for 5+ years now and never had a problem with grinders of good quality like: dewalt, ridgid and others. And i am abusing them on a daily bases quite systematically. If i was to take a guess then i would say that most likely it has the brushes on it, otherwise they would have marketed it as being brush-less

Question:	does it comes with its carrying case
Answer:	Listed as 5.3 peak HP. 5.3 HP = 3952 watts. 3952/120v = 32.9 amps (peak).Can't find steady amps but I'd put it on the level of a 14" cut-off saw. I've thrown breakers in one shop with this grinder. It's fine to run off most shop plug-ins and engine drive welders.In order to cut with this much power and a wider 9" disc, they have to make the cutting blades thicker. Cutting isn't much faster at all than with a smaller grinder with a thin disc. This is really just for heavy grinding and ideally in an ergonomical downwards position or by a geniunely strong person if out of position for long.
