Question:	Could you polish a crankshaft on it
Answer:	No work light, but this is a pretty amazing drill press. Easy enough to clip one one. The radial aspect of it makes it very versatile. You can drill much further towards center of a longer piece, the tilting head is much more accurate and easy to use than a tilting table. Needs to be secured to the floor pretty good. I made a base out of a half sheet of 3/4 plywood with 2 X 6 flat framing. I would not trade it for another. Had a few in the past, this one far exceeds any of them.

Answer:	It's about 3-1/2" with both nuts on. If you need more travel remove nuts and use a needle nose Visegrip.

Answer:	It is too top heavy with the radial head for free standing. I took a 1/2 sheet of 3/4 plywood, I "framed" it underneath with 2 x 6 laying flat, put a cross member where the front set of base bolts when and then bolted the base to the frame. This gave me a big enough base to keep it stable. Works great, I can slide the drill press aside when not using it.

Answer:	It is oscillating motion, like a teeter totter. Here is something I found online: Oscillating Vibration MachinesThe biggest difference between the two types of machine is the central fulcrum point; whereas tri-planar machines don't have one, oscillating machines do. You might be thinking "what does that mean?" Well rather than the base plate remaining level whilst it moves (like on a tri-planar machine), the base plate of an oscillating machine rocks on this central fulcrum point, producing a similar effect to a see-saw, with one side of the plate rising slightly as the other side dips. Without a visual demonstration, that motion may sound fairly dangerous, but as the range of motion is actually fairly minimal, we can assure you it's not. Answer:	It has 30 speeds and I have only gotten to 10, but I believe it is only vertical, or side to side. At higher speeds it feels more oscillating though. So far I am very happy with it, it's pretty quiet and very strong, the platform is very wide, much bigger than the picture looks. By changing your weight, you get different parts of your body to vibrate. I think it's pretty cool and for the price, if it last a few years, it will be a great deal.

Question:	Where is the power switch
Answer:	This depends on whether the spindle of the drill press has a MORSE MT2 bore at its bottom end, where the chuck mounts. To find out, you must remove the current , old chuck from the spindle of your drill press and inspect the mounting bore on its bottom end. If it is a tapered bore, the tapered adaptor shaft shown on the picture with the new chuck will fit into it.
