Answer:	The clamps are metal on the inside (obviously), and a durable plastic on the outside as insulating covers. Looks to be pretty durable, I've had no problems with them. But then, I tend to take care of my toys! :-) This unit, by the way, was an excellent investment...after having owned several less-capable chargers. This one restored my Yellow Top battery back to its full capacity in short order! I own a Tahoe Hybrid and had installed the Yellow Top as a result of standard batteries not holding a full charge after a year or two, and often draining when not running the Tahoe at least once every 4-5 days or so. Can connect full-time to the battery the accompanying cable, making the use of clamps unnecessary! Just have to remember to unplug it!

Question:	is this really 6 x 9 inches in size. seems awfully big for an on-board charger
Answer:	NO IT'S NOT!! Not even the box it came in is that large! The case dimensions are 5" X 3 1/2" (or 4 3/4" if you count the mounting tabs) X 1 1/2 " I bought this with great trepidation, as it was supposed to replace the Schumacher SE-1-12s mounted to my Power Tow Thundervolt electric airplane tug. The published dimensions of this charger made it seem as though it was MUCH larger than the original unit. But, in fact, the case was the exact same size except for the mounting tabs.
Question:	What is the warranty
Answer:	Any product nominally comes with a 1yr warranty, but I would never buy a product because of the warranty especially when there are no moving parts. If it works, then it should continue working unless the buyer operates the product outside the parameters designed for the unit.
Question:	Will it work on my 2013mb c
Answer:	Making the rash assumption your MB C250 is a gasoline powered vehicle with a 12 Volt battery the short answer is “yes”. The trickle charger is designed to mount in the engine compartment and be left there. It is designed to “maintain” a 12Volt battery in good condition and already fully charged.
Question:	can I permeantly keep this unit connect while driving or need to use diods to stop block back feed from battery
Answer:	Yes it is designed to be connected to your battery. You just unplug the extension cord to start or drive the vehicle. When you get back just plug it up and it will help maintain the battery. Nice product for vehicles that aren't driven often.

Answer:	So All BMW owners! It's not the battery that is the problem. What happens: is when you replace your battery in a BMW.. There is a coding you have to do in the ECU. If you don't code in your new battery the car will do a rapid charge to the new battery, because it still thinks it's the bad battery. this will cause the battery to die twice as fast. If the battery has a 5yr warranty and 36 month replacement. You'll be replacing it around that 2-3 year time frame. You can either get the software to code it in the ECU if you're familiar with it. Or you can put a jumper box on it, so it doesn't think the battery was disconnected and put the new one in plug it up and tighten it down. before you take the jump box off. that's the 2 choiced you have or go to the dealer and be charge around $120 labor charge.
