Answer:	Air direction does not matter so you can combine two compressors. The issue I had trying to do sandblasting with 1/4" connectors is going to be flow rate. Most 1/4" connectors are only passing around 32-40 CFM. Even with two good sized compressors I wasn't getting the air flow I needed. A holding tank near the blaster and 3/8" lines helped a lot.
Question:	Is there any power benefit for going 240v such as more CFM
Answer:	Do not use this with a pressure washer. This item, like all pneumatic equipment, is not rated for much more than a few hundred psi. Your pressure washer almost certainly goes higher than this.

Answer:	Yes. Those cans are useless. I ONLY use real air for dusting out electronics.

Answer:	NO. Well, you COULD run a framing gun on this, but you'd have to wait a while between nails. You'd be faster with a hammer, and you'd be running the compressor solidly on the entire time. Great way to burn it out. Get a bigger compressor with a larger air tank for a framing gun.

It's a very quiet compressor. It also appears that it has an unloader, a device that separates the compressor from the tank and lets that air out, so that the motor does not have to work against high pressure when it kicks on. I base this on the sound it makes when the motor stops. I'm happy with it so far, though I have not used it very much.

These are commonly found at local Hardware stores, or available through Amazon. There are many types of 1/4 inch fitting, so if you search "1/4 inch fitting Automotive" or "1/4 inch fitting Industrial" You will find what your need. So anticipating the next question: which one is better? The one that works (sorry). Pick one type as a standard for your shop and get enough for all your tools. If you borrow a tool with a different fitting, you may need to build an adapter or temporarily replace the fitting so you can use it.

Question:	Can i run a small hvlp gun with this? The gun runs around 7cfm at 29psi
Answer:	I read that one individual purchased the MAC700, which is the next one down in size. In cold weather, his compressor would not start, and had to be continually reset. He finally drained all of the oil out of the compressor, and replaced it with synthetic oil. After that, it started up and ran fine in cold weather. I understand others have stated that you are only supposed to use the factory advised oil, but under dire circumstances, it worked fine for this Gentleman. That may be because Makita builds air compressors that are practically indestructible.
Question:	Is the tank corrosion free
Answer:	Disregard comment from SAJITH MATHEW, as this compressor arrives with only enough oil for 1 one the initial fill-up! The enclosed manual will tell you the "weight" of oil to use. As for "brand", that's entirely up to you, but whatever you choose, be sure that that oil is for AIR COMPRESSORS, only!! After a bout 100 hrs of use, I just recently changed over to "Royal Purple 01513 Synfilm Recip 100 H Perf Synethetic Air Compressor" oil ava. on Amazon, as it performs better at lower temperatures, since I'm in Northern New Mexico where it can be below 30* even in April/May.
Question:	I'm using tekton 46135 3/8" id hose with milton s-212 1/4" npt m style connectors and the 2010a seems to leak air. anyone has similar issues
Answer:	The primary determiner, beyond motor size (HP rating), cylinder volume and piston mass that dictates how much current (Amps) is drawn by the compressor at any given moment, from startup with a empty tank to restart for recharging a pressure regulated tank, is a dynamic value that is a function of backpressure at the compressor output from the storage tank(s). The amount of power (watts), be it instantaneous or free running, is a function of Amps x Volts (110-120) = Watts, up to the maximum wattage rating of the compressor motor. As side note, the motor as it becomes hot from use, also losing some electrical efficiency as the internal winding resistance inside the motor increases with temperature, creating a slight increase in voltage drop across the windings, requiring the motor to draw more current. A person brashly accusing Makita of being "weaselly" (nouns transform into adjectives, not adverbs) should, at minimum, know the difference between power consumption and amps drawn, thus non weasels like question that in reality is seeking two separate answers.
