Question: | How big is this for an dewalt impact 20v |

User questions & answers
Question: | So is there literally a clip in tge back that slides into a pocket on the outside of the pouch |
Answer: | I started this answer couple of days ago, but was not settled with my response. I finally tried the 5066L as if I were Right Handed, simulating what you are questioning. The short answer is YES. The longer version is: I’ll assume you are left handed. I simulated having the holster center rear / sacrum area, to use as a Right handed person; using my Milwaukee 18V drill/driver/hammer drill with a long Phillips bit in it. _ I am getting old, and my shoulders don’t like to strain that far to grasp the handle. If you are spry, and it is not a frequent thing; _just occasionally need the drill/driver, then maybe you would get along with that arrangement; but the with-drawl is slanting across your mid back, your hand would have to get near your shoulder blades and that puts more bind on your shoulder, especially with a screw driving bit, or drill bit chucked. The belt loop is one piece which sandwiches and is sewn to a heavier leather piece which is the thigh side of the holster. The change-function ring on my Milwaukee consistently caught on that, as with drawl is a body hugging move, where as when used conventionally, one tends to draw up and out simultaneously, and I had not noticed the Milwaukee catching, but I have not put this to 'use' yet; just playing with it a scant bit so far. That arrangement did work though. If this is for frequent use, I' advise to put it more-nearly as it was designed to be. If you are left handed buy the Left handed version, and belt it somewhere to your Left side. _If Right handed do the opposite. As a ~wild-card after thought, if you are short on belt room, you ~could~ hang this style holster lower than the belted pockets for screws and whatever, _tethering the bottom of the holster to your leg like a holster out of an old western movie, creating a secondary belt to attach to your main belt and loop through the normal belt loop f the holster. Similar to 'cargo pockets on some shorts and pants. Maybe besides hanging it from the main belt, also wrap another secondary belt (Velcro sewn to an broad elastic strap, so it would move with your thigh muscles) about your thigh at the normally belted upper portion so it would not slap. ___Just dreaming for you. :-) |
Question: | I've had other clip mount holders but when I put something heavy it digs in and hurts to wear. If you hung a nail gun on has anyone had any issues |
Answer: | It’s plenty big enough |
Question: | Whats the width of the belt clip? thanks |
Answer: | Not sure of your drill size... but these are fairly large.... standard cordless drill will fit in it well but a impact driver like a Milwaukee might swim some.... is well made and very heavy duty and will take a while to break in.... I prefer leather for my tool belt and tools and got the left handed one for an extra drill.... but actually have taken this back off temporarily ....I do wish it had more than two slots for chucks.... |
Question: | Is the metal ring wide enough for the body of a large mag-light, but narrow enough to not drop it entirely |
Answer: | 3" belt x 10" long |

User questions & answers
Question: | Sera que cabe una cinta metrica de 35 pies |
Answer: | No solo es para las de 25 pies o menos |
Question: | Is there an user manual |
Answer: | No user manual. The leather is of good quality, draw back not flexible. To shape it I had to soak it for a day or so once I did that I a Was able to put in my tape measure pencils to shape the leather. Left them in place for a couple of days to allow leather to dry. I took out the tape measure and the pencils then rub leather with a leather treatment cream. The leather pouch then became soft allowing the tape measure and pencils to come out smoothly. |
Question: | will a pair of regular pliers fit in the knife whole |
Answer: | I had to wet mine, in order to form fit my knife. So, I would imagine that you could form it to hold pliers instead. This is great quality, and is now my favorite accessory! I put it on along with my belt every morning. Love it! |
Question: | Does a 25 foot Dewalt tape fit |
Answer: | Not sure about the DeWalt tape measure but a Stanley Powerlock 25’ fits perfectly if you remove the belt clip. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Good for a 4lb hammer |
Answer: | Yes there is a heavy duty clip on the pouch so you can hook it to your belt. It works great . I use when doing handy little jobs and don't have to use my apron. |
Question: | Can this fit a 10 oz caulk gun |
Answer: | I never had that issue.. Only use it for my hammer and rarely I use my cordless drill. So a heavier tool I couldn't tell you. It seems to be pretty strong, so iI wouldn't think it would. Personally carrying around a nail gun I would try to put your nailer on a shoulder strap. Sorry couldn't help you much. |
Question: | i just bought a occidental 3" ranger belt. will this hammer holder fit it |
Answer: | It is 2-1/2" wide inside |
Question: | Were do you guys mount that holder? Says high mount. Thanks |
Answer: | Well not sure how big is your mag-life but I will tell you the inside measurements of the ring is 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. Hope this helps you. I love it man,..slip it on and off it works great for me. |
