Question:	Is there an easy fix to holding up the heat shields when the hooks have disintegrated
Answer:	Well, I don't think there is an easy fix. I had the same problem that my old hooks (supports) had basically rusted and disintegrated. So I bent some aluminum into roughly right-angle brackets and drilled holes and secured them at the proper height with screws/nuts. I'm betting you can find some galvanized steel angle brackets or similar at your local big box store. But you'll need a hacksaw to cut them to the correct length and a drill and bits to mount them.
Question:	The Bracket is gone. What to do
Answer:	I used wire to hang from the grate. Works fine. Have done this for at least a couple of years. Almost time for a new grill. Maybe next year. 😎

Answer:	There is an open end on the new burner that is larger than the fluted end on the grill. It just slides over the piece attached to the grill. If the piece on the grill is rusted thru I would not take a chance with gas, I'd replace the grill. A few hundred dollars is not worth the chance of an explosion.

Answer:	I had to trim my to fit my outside gas grill (not sure about the Jenn_Air). Some other vendors reviews stated their heat shields are too small to fit. These shields are bigger and longer than what I need, they are tough stainless steel, if you intent to DIY, you will need a very good metal shear (tin snip) to trim them, and de-burr sharp edges from the cuts. Check the dimensions stated on the picture to make sure the length fits your grill opening, the width is not as critical as the dome will cover the flames even if you bend the center to change the slope of the tent. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The S-420 isn't among the list of compatible grills. However, you should be able to measure your current grates and see if they are the same dimensions as those listed for these grates.

Answer:	I never checked, but I will tell you they are much better than the iron grates that rust out in 6 months.
Question:	What’s the best way to clean to get back to original finish? Wire brush not working too well
Answer:	The most effective thing I've found for cleaning this gas grill grate is available from Amazon. Do a search using "6 Pack Stainless Steel Sponges, Scrubbing Scouring Pad, Steel Wool Scrubber." I use one of these the day after I've cooked on this grill. It removes everything, right down to the shiny stainless steel.

Answer:	Mary, make sure the end that "connects" to the gas output is up as close as it can be. Turn on the gas and give it another try. I will say that this product is not one size fits all. I did a lot of research and couldn't find anything based on name brand replacement. Ultimately I had to get out my tape measure and get the exact measurements. Then, I compared that actual image online with the old burner from my grill. That took some time and research but eventually found them. Amazon won't let me mention brands but mine starts with a woman's first name. Another thing you can look at is to see if your tank is full. Mine is tapped into my gas line so I'm tankless. I hope this helps!
Question:	Do you think the thickness of the cast iron is as heavy as the original burner
Answer:	they are similar to originals and should last a long time. the only difference is they don't come with the metal band to adjust air mixture. i fabricated new ones

Answer:	I just bought a set for my capt'n cook that previously had the 18" trays. They listed my bbq on the comparable product list... I had the same concern as you. The 16" tray fits on the ledge -just without as much overlap as the 18" long tray. I figure as long as you're not planning on moving the bbq around much you shouldn't have to worry about the trays dropping.
