Question:	I just got mine and they smell very strong of a plastic/oil/chemical smell. How long does it take for this to go away? Does the dishwasher remove it
Answer:	Alex, We did not notice any unusual smells with our Silicone Spatula Set and you can be sure if they had a smell my wife would have notices it! If it is that strong I would ask for an exchange, just to see if the second set has the smell or not. Sorry we can not be of more help.
Question:	Can these be used for making microwave peanut brittle
Answer:	The manufacturer says it is good up to 600°F and you probably won’t cook your sugar past 310° so yes they should work fine, they are very slick so the sugar syrup would just slide off.
Question:	Are the flat spatulas ok for brown ground beef and breaking it up
Answer:	I've never tried them for this purpose. I should think you could manage it if you apply sufficient force. I use this set a lot, but for chopping up the ground turkey that I frequently cook, I use a metal spatula, since this isn't a job that requires a flexible tool. Also, I'm not particularly strong and being very short, I don't have the leverage to chop efficiently without a metal tool.

Answer:	Your question is for the 12” spatula, I own the 16”. For the extra 2 inches, it holds quite a bit of weight. A slight flex, but no bending at all. Any more weight and you wouldn’t be able to lift it comfortably. The shorter spatula should be plenty strong.

Answer:	Yes, this spatula is very sturdy, Smashing burger should be no problem.

Answer:	It is a fairly thick blade and not very flexible. I just measured it as 1.25 mm or 0.05 inches with a digital micrometer. It is easy to use to get under the food though because the spatula is beveled on two sides, the short front end and one side.

Question:	Will these flex enuf in a non-stick skillet to scrape eggs off the sides without being too soft, leaving them to burn
Answer:	Yes. As long as the non-stick skillet surface is in good shape.
Question:	Can these flip a burger without dropping it because of the flexability
Answer:	No problem; inside the silicone rubber is metal to stiffen the spatulas enough to lift burgers or even heavier items. The metal doesn't go all the way to the edges, it stops about 1/3 inch before the edge, providing great flexibility at the edges but enough firmness such that it can do useful work.
Question:	Are the handles made from silicone as well
Answer:	No, the handles are made of TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) and have a lower melting point than the silicone blades. You should be careful about resting them on the edge of a hot frying pan since than can melt or mark easier than silicone.

Question:	What are the dimensions at the head of the spatula
Answer:	I gave the large one to my mom so I cannot measure it, but the small one is approx. 5 inches from the bend to the end of the handle and 6 and 1/4 inches from the bend to the tip of the spatula. It is 2 and 3/4 inches from the low side to the high side of the head of the spatula. Hope that helps.
Question:	How wide are these turners
Answer:	The larger one is 3 1/4" at the bottom and the smaller one is 3" at the bottom. They make a nice set.
Question:	Are these flexible
Answer:	Yes, these spatulas are both sturdy and flexible. They are durable enough to turn steaks but flexible enough to slide under eggs to flip them perfectly.
Question:	Is the rose color more of a red or a Rachel ray burgundy/cranberry
Answer:	Definitely more of a burgundy/cranberry tone, a dark red, perhaps? I think we're used to see rose as rose LOL, but they definitely do NOT have a pink hue to them, at all.
