It does not look particularly water-proofed to me. I would not use it for outside, except maybe where no rain at all could get to it. I think there are battery powered motion-controlled lights intended for outside that would work better.

Answer:	I've been using these stick-on lights for some time now and I've only had trouble with one not wanting to stay on after a month or so. I purchased a package of double sided adhesive stick ons. I just placed on side on the adhesive sticker on the light and then attached the other side to the wall. Worked like a charm. Instructions:

1. Before sticking the lights, clean the area and make sure it is dry before sticking, otherwise it will affect the stickiness.

2. Rotate the bulb and adjust the space between the bulbs by winding the wires.

3. Peel the double-sided adhesive tape and stick the bulbs on the mirror. Recommend to stick it on a smooth place, it will be easy to fall off when stuck on uneven places.

Answer:	Approx 1/2”? Not exactly sure as I used the included double stick tape that works great.

Answer:	I purchased these in mid-March 2019 and used brand new Energizer batteries. One of the lights was considerably dimmer than the other on just the second use and by the third use, it was completely dead. You would have assumed I left it on for hours, but I did not. I couldn’t have been used for more than 5 mins in total. And of course, I’m a week past the return policy so am stuck with a useless, non-working light. Do not recommend purchasing these. Look for something else.
