Answer:	Yes, this globe is detailed and up to date. Children can touch the areas where the highest mountains are indicated by a bumpier and less smooth spot on the globe. Colors help give more emphasis on land areas and water areas, as well as changes to the regions.

Answer:	It does show Taiwan as part of China. Some of the Indian and Bhutan borders seem different if you search a map of India. But then again Japans color looks really close to Russia in the photo.

Answer:	So I bought this to cover $100 bean bag chair, ($15 for the plan) and when it got a rip I filed a claim. They denied my claim bc they said it was caused by normal wear and tear, not an "accident". I pointed out that I didn't rip it on purpose, it was an accident, but it didn't change. They couldn't explain the difference between normal wear/tear and accidental damage, they just seem to use it as an excuse to deny claims. It's not worth the hoops they make you jump though and the unappealable denials.

Answer:	Yes, but I made a little wood stand really that works much better for the cup, especially on windy days as the cups blows over pretty easily. Get a square piece of wood just a bit wider than the top of the cup. A piece of wood about one inch deep or more works best. Then use a drill about as wide as the bottom of the cup and drill half way down in the wood. You now have stable cup holder that will fit in your backpack and will not blow over in the wind. I used apiece of wood I picked up at the local hardware store and they cut it square for me. You'll have the do the drilling yourself.

Answer:	The globe is more geographical (mountains, forests, rivers and deserts) than political (state borders). The deep ocean is a darker blue than the shallow ocean. Rugged mountains are shown in a darker brown, deserts in tan, forests in green. Countries and states are named (if large enough), but boundaries are only shown for countries, not states. Only the very largest cities are named, which does not include most state capital. 13 inches is too small to show all the state capitals, I would recommend a wall map for that. I believe the light is an LED which should never need replacing. The globe can be disassembled for LED replacement, but you would have to carefully remove the equator tape and reapply it when re-assembling it. The globe is two hemispheres that fit together at the equator. The globe is more professional than any 12 or 13-inch globe I’ve seen. I’m very happy with it.

Answer:	Not sure what you are asking. The plug in goes to a 120 Volt outlet but the bulb is a smaller bulb but is brighter than a nite lite. It is a very nice globe. I bought for a gift.

Answer:	you plug it in & it has an on/off switch on the chord. so i guess one could always have it switched on... not sure if that helps.
