Answer:	Variable speed = Trigger. "Would this work?" = Probably, however, the correct answer is that I can't really tell you based solely on the thickness of the material. Two other variable exist: the size of the hole and the quality of your bits. Most drills and bits out there can do (1) 3/8" thick hole through annealed high carbon steel, however, if you use cheap bits, and/or the wrong amount of pressure/speed, that bit won't drill another hole. I give that size hole simply because of the chuck size. If you get bits with a smaller shank and larger bore size you can do larger holes.

Answer:	Being so powerful for how light and compact it is, this XWT11 could easily be your "daily driver" impact, but you might want to consider the XWT08 for suspension work. It's out of this world with 740 ft-lbs rated torque and 1,180 ft-lbs of breaking torque. I just bought the XWT08 and it's amazing. It seems faster and more powerful than my trusty IR231 air impact (as it should; an IR231 is only rated at around 600 ft-lbs or so). It's huge and heavy compared to the good old IR, but I still don't regret my purchase one bit.

Answer:	Elaborate the question; 6in is the length or dia? if 16g wall then its a tube not stud?
Question:	What is the strokes per minute on the reciprocating saw
Answer:	I would not recommend this saw. I received it with stripped out bolts that were just hand tight. The saw did not cut square either. The vise was square with the blade but the top of the saw was not not square with the base. I sent the saw back and bought a proper dry cut saw.

Answer:	To my knowledge this does not come in 220 volts

Answer:	The RPMs are too slow. This is made to cut steel. I'd go with a wood cutting saw with much higher RPMs in the 3600 rpm range.
