Answer:	No. It is self contained. You charge the internal battery with a small cable. You can tell when it is fully charged. I usually charge it once a week depending on how much I use it. Maybe you could leave the charging cable plugged in--I have not tried using it that way. But there is NO timer.

Answer:	I've used mine a good week or more before having to recharge. I use it about an hour in the morning and half hour to an hour at night. If you use it more than that it may not last as long.

Answer:	I don't know. Most of this type of product are made overseas.
Question:	Has anyone else experienced difficulty turning on and changing light options
Answer:	This light is awful! I haven't had trouble with that but once it died and I recharged it, now I can't use it without it being plugged in! To turn it on, hold the on button for 3 seconds. To change light settings, tap the button. I hope this helps. Let me know if you can solve my issue of not being able to use it without it being plugged in. Didn't find out until after return time so I couldn't return it. So maddening.
Question:	How long does the charge last
Answer:	I usually don't leave it on until it runs down completely. I use to read in bed at night about 30-45 minutes and it lasts a few days. It will start to dim when it needs to be recharged. You can use it connected to a USB plug also. It is a nice little light.
