Answer:	These LED’s have a range of 4 volts to 24 volts, so they clearly have internal regulation. NiMH x 4 would be at the very low end of this range, and thus easily handled. Since NiMH batteries are 1.2 volts or so when fully charged, and fall below 1 volt as they discharge, this setup might not allow the full energy capacity of the batteries to be utilized.

Answer:	My experience with trying to dim LED lights is that the technology for the dimmers isn't good enough to work properly. My dimmer switch for a bedroom lamp burned out from trying this. Best to use LEDs only for non-dimming purposes, stick with incandescent for dimming. Hopefully this will be changing.

Answer:	Contrary to most opinions here, it has nothing to do with Title 20 - the specs for these bulbs are way above Title 20 requirements. The reason this doesn't ship to CA (while smaller packs of the exact same light bulb do) is because of Proposition 65, related to the cancer warning on the packaging. This SKU doesn't have the warning on the package, while the smaller boxes do. The "lots of dim bulbs in CA" comment was really funny BTW. Maybe they should pass a proposition about that.

I have about 40 light fixtures in my building with similar bulbs. But it wasn't this brand, it was EcoSmart E26 A16s purchased from Home Depot. Those bulbs were marked as not to be used in an enclosed fixture. So when the product information states this, it's worth taking seriously. I didn't see anything written in the product info or on the box of these lights about not using in an enclosed fixture.

Answer:	I'm not aware of a 20" bulb and a quick internet search didn't reveal any. I've found measurements misleading to an extent. You might measure your old bulb. It might actually be a 21" bulb. It seems to me that the pins are often included in, or at least partially included, in the total measurement.

Answer:	The "K" refers to the color of the light. Incandescent lamp color temperature is around 2700K; it is referred to as soft and appears yellow. Lamps with the color of afternoon sunlight are in the 5000K color temperature region and will appear brighter to your eye. Some might even say harsh. Answer:	No. As incandescent bulbs work off power (voltage and current) during dimming they will appear to be off whereas they are still producing heat of some kind just not visible. LED bulbs work the same (power) they are more efficient and therefore will produce light at very low voltage. So you are doing nothing wrong.
Question:	Has anyone tested these in a dimmable chandelier
Answer:	Conventional wall dimmers allow some electricity through, even when on the dimmest setting. You won't notice this with a regular incandescent bulb because they use so much electricity. However, LED bulbs use much less electricity, so the small amount that continues to be fed through is more than enough to light up the bulb. Your options are to (1)get an LED wall dimmer, (2)to install a resistor in the light fixture (which is what I did), or (3)just deal with the fact that it won't dim-out completely. Sounds like the LED bulb is working properly, though.
