Answer:	Yes. I use the Xikar solution wit these crystals but the distilled water also works. To get the max amount of life out of these crystals use the solution

Answer:	Boveda is a two-way humidity device and cannot be used in combination with different humidifiers or percentages of Boveda. The humidity levels will fluctuate as the Boveda attempts to achieve 72%. You may want to consider adding an extra Boveda 72% pack and test the reading on your hygrometer for accuracy.
Question:	I have a 75-100 Cigar humidor and with this product it will not maintain anything above 62% humidity. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the Xikar Humidifier Solution "Maintains 70% RH" and it appears to be "full". The Humidor is air tight and has a good seal
Answer:	I have the same problem. I think Xikar is wildly optimistic about how much moisture their humidifier jars can transfer. I have two 165-cigar Daniel Marshall humidors‎ (top notch humidors, lined with Spanish cedar and very well sealed) and it takes two of the 4 oz Xikar humidifier jars in each humidor to maintain cigars in the 70% range...and that's in humidors which are well seasoned, maintained at ~70% RH for years and filled with cigars which are purchased from a commercial facility with a large walk-in humidor where the RH is electronically monitored and regulated 24x7.

Question:	Which boveda pack do I use to keep my dried and cured marijuana from drying in my jars
Answer:	I going on the premise that it's cured in a simaler fashion as Cigar tobacco. Even though cigar tobacco has a fermentation process, they should still be comparable. I like my cigars at 75RH just because I live in a northern state where the dew point on average is in the 40's. It varies amongst cigar smokers, and is a personal preference. I would say anything between 65RH and 75RH would work. On a side note, air temperature will also affect RH levels.
Question:	How many packs do I stick in a 2 gallon mason jar
Answer:	Not really sure. I use 4 72% packs in my Old Glory Cigar Humidor (100 cigar). I would imagine you would be about the same volume. Just remember, too many won't hurt. It's not going to over humidify, but too few will dry out faster.
Question:	After seasoning a humidor, if you throw one B72 pack into a humidor for a few days, can you then calibrate a hygrometer in the humidor
Answer:	I have a 200 cigar humidor in my Prescott, AZ home. Very dry environment. It requires 3 B72's for 10 days to stabilize and be able to calibrate the hygrometer. Three packs maintain a 68 to 70% humidity level.
Question:	What is the shelf life of an unopened pack? Is it the same as an opened one? In other words, can I buy in larger quantities and then store some
Answer:	It appears to me that as long as you don't cut the cellophane envelope open the unopened pack does not start to dry out. I purchased a $44 box and have not used even half of the packs, and all the rest appear fresh. The product appears to be just as advertised. My son, who also enjoys cigars and who introduced me to this product has used them for several years and is satisfied with the performance.

Answer:	That is not a picture of the product I purchased. That one looks like a Xikar the one I got from Amazon is not. And I don't think you should buy it. Only has half the crystals. Once the gel shrinks down and the until begins to have space in it, it is time to refill with XiKAR PG solution... The gel will last for many refills.

Answer:	It was actually a 50 count Ammodor, a metal ammo case converted into a humidor. It works great for something small and has maintained the humidity almost perfectly.

Answer:	I would always use some type of digital humidor so you can make sure to keep it at the correct humidity. I have 1 in my humidor with aprox 50 cigars and a damp corner of a sponge with filtered water and I haven't had to change it in months. I'm not sure how long it would last in a jar without any type of a way to know what the humidity would be.
