Answer:	The Fan Control is not designed for use with lighting and has a lower rating than the GE In-Wall Dimmers and it should not be used for the purpose of lighting. Both the GE Z-Wave Fan Control and the GE Z-Wave Dimmer require the same wiring as well, so there is no advantage to use the fan control for lighting purposes even if it was recommended.

Answer:	Yes, you can operate 2 identical ceiling fans that in total do not exceed the 2.5A rating of this switch. Just as a note: Older packaging and information may only show only a 1.5A rating, however our product is and has been UL rated for safe usage up to 2.5A since it was designed. We are in the process of updating all of our literature and packaging to reflect the correct rating of 2.5A

Answer:	The GE 14287 is designed for ceiling fans, and wouldn't be recommended to control a bathroom vent fan. It may also be necessary to identify the bathroom fan you currently have installed as it may not be constructed or designed to have its speed adjusted.

Answer:	The default speed is high. There is a "favorite" button in the center of the switch that can be programmed for the speed of your choice when that button is pushed, otherwise, the "on" panel of the switch will default to the high speed when pushed. I use my switch with Google Assist and it turns on at the high speed. We normally have Google turn it down a notch to "medium-high". The switch has four speeds. This switch will fit in a normal box, but you'll have to get the placement of switch, wires, and wire nuts just right. Great switch!
