It does not have a selection of patterns such as soaker, flat, angled, mist, shower or jet. Besides the direct stream from the faucet the only other spray pattern on the faucet head would probably best resemble the shower stream pattern found on your garden hose nozzle. Hope that helps you.

The shower filter components are arranged in such a way as not to impede the flow of water and create excess pressure before the filter. But if you have a lot of sediments, you may need to backwash often to avoid a decrease in water flow. Now, please try to open the shower filter housing, take out the cartridges for backwashing for a few minutes, and then install it back into the shower filter housing, pls note that three o-rings must be restored.Besides, there's a detailed instruction inside the box. Question:	how often should the filter be replaced
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. Activated carbon filters can remove low levels of sulfur sediment, manganese, and iron. However, maintenance and replacement of filter systems are very high because sulfur, iron, manganese and other suspended materials in the water soon clog the filter. So, while it may reduce the iron, it will not completely eliminate it and may require more frequent filter changes.
Question:	Does this shower head have really good water pressure? My hair is abnormally thick and I can’t stand hard water + how long it takes to wash my hair
Answer:	No home filters are rated to take out heavy metals, the manufacturers don't want to get sued if you have excessive contamination that they can't completely remove. You should try the filter for three days, then take a water sample and send it to the lab to see how many contaminants are left.
Question:	Does a filter come with this unit
Answer:	This is not a gravity filter. This filter works by water pressure forcing it through various chambers inside , I’m sure it will work even if its installed at any angle. That being said I won’t recommend this , ive had it for just about 6 months now and every time I use it rusty brown water comes out then clears , EVERY TIME . I complained to the company, the customer service rep says the same thing occurs in the one that she has in her own house. They are aware of this issue but will not do anything about it.

Question:	How do you save water using this? Anyone know or see a difference in water bill
Answer:	I haven't checked the water bill but it works like any restrictor valve, the difference is it does shoot out less water but at higher pressure. You can tell once you get the unit. I like the feel of the higher pressure stream, you can tell the difference with the rain stream. However this head does need to be taken apart and clean the flat metal piece periodically otherwise the flow starts to get blocked in some areas of the head. I also noticed sometimes that can be corrected not due to obstructions but simply taking apart and reassembly of the head itself would correct the issue. I'm not sure what causes it mechanically.
Question:	How does it attach to the hose
Answer:	Just like any hand-held shower head, there is the Female connector that fits over the male connector on your hose.
Question:	Have you found this to be mild laxative
Answer:	No, I have not found it to be a mild laxative.
Question:	Is it good for washing your hair
Answer:	YES, I have noticed that my hair, as well as my skin, is softer. We have really exceptional well water, but the little filter bead in the handle (which are replaceable) filter out even more mineral particles giving you softened water. It also filters out impurities such as chlorine, and other chemicals some cities use to kill bacterial agents in water.

Question:	How many gallons per minute
Answer:	What's TDS: TDS, the full name is Total dissolved solids. Also known as dissolved solids, are measured in mg/l (mg/l), which indicates how many milligrams of dissolved solids are dissolved in 1 liter of water. The higher the TDS value, the more dissolved solids the water contains. TDS and water quality are two different concepts. TDS is only a number of indicators of water quality, TDS is mainly used to detect pure water, distilled, RO membrane (reverse osmosis membrane) water purifier water quality of one of the indicators. So we don't recommend to use TDS tester to judge whether our shower filter is effective; because as you can see into our shower filter we have added Maifan stone/Medical stone, far infrared ceramic balls, they will dissolve many kinds of trace elements in the water. If you use TDS tester to test, the TDS value may increase. We recommend our customers to use residual chlorine reagents to test the shower filter result.
Question:	Will the shower walls and floor stay cleaner and not build up with residue
Answer:	There are different ways to filter/neutralize chloramines but for a shower filter the easiest is perhaps a vitamin C type shower filter. I've used them before and they work pretty well as I live in LA and we have chloramines here. Almost a 100% neutralization rate.
Question:	Which filter do I need to purchase for this when I comes time to replace the filter
Answer:	Mine last 2 months before they need to be changed. By the time 2 months have passed, the water pressure significantly decreases and the water feels hard again. If you have particularly sensitive skin, you may want to change every month. I’ve tried several brands over the years and this brand’s filter with the silver layer has been the best, but must be changed at least every 2 months with how hard my water supply is.

Question:	Shouldn’t this have come with a filter? Mine didn’t
Answer:	Mine came with one filter that was inside the shower head already and fell out when I was working with the shower head. It is rather small, about an inch and a half in diameter,, white. You may have it and not recognize it . Check the ads for replacement filters and see if you have one inside your shower head.

Answer:	Works fine, I just have a 1978 shower so the rain head is low, but whatever, like it.
Question:	How can you tell which filter replacement works for it
Answer:	The one they sold with the product. I wanted it to get rid of the chlorine, hard water making me itch and eyes red.
Question:	How often do you have to replace the filter and if it requires replacement, where can you purchase one
Answer:	It depends on how much you use the shower (based on number people and their use). On average they say you should change your showerhead every 10,000 gallons. I'm just changing mine every 6 months.

Installation Steps

1. Using Teflon tape to wrap around male pipe thread adapters of Fixed shower arm(shower arm not included);
2. Screw the 3-way water diverter to the shower arm(notice the direction);
3. Using Teflon tape to wrap around, and screwing the square shower head to the 3-way water diverter;
4. Screw the stainless steel hose to the 3-way water diverter;
5. The other side of hose connect the washer →handheld shower head;
6. Adhere the shower head mount in proper position(Make the walls clean and dry before press the hook. ), Recommended for hunging up the handheld shower head after 24 hours.
