Answer:	There has been quite a bit of research on black cumin seed oil which indicates it can be useful for a variety of health concerns, but personally I started using it on the advice of my specialist when I was trying to get my severe inflammatory response under control. I have 2 severe inflammatory/auto-immune diseases, Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) (aka RSD) and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). The MCAS causes horrible digestive and other inflammatory issues if I eat anything that is histamine-rich, and my CRPS has never been totally controlled even after having a neurostimulator implanted and taking a neuropathy medication. Before I was diagnosed with MCAS, my severe digestive issues had gotten so bad I could barely eat and was borderline clinically anorexic after losing an unhealthy 40lbs. I started taking black cumin seed oil, along with digestive enzymes, benadryl, holy basil, a product called Hista-Aid, and a special probiotic strain blend before eating, and wow, within a couple days not only was my digestive issues better, the inflammatory nerve and muscle pain from the CRPS was gone! That was a year ago, and now I know which foods are major MCAS triggers, so only take a couple of the additional items above when I plan on eating something that is a trigger, but have kept taking black cumin seed oil capsules 2x/day, and I can definitely tell when I don't take them for a day. I have tried 3 different brands, and 1 did not work, the other was just ok. I believe it's extremely important that the % of standardized thymoquinone (TQ) is labeled on the bottle.
