Answer:	If you want protection there are vids out there about using Radians Custom Molded Earplugs CEP001 to make these more like custom monitors. I can hear finger snaps and hand claps easily while wearing these if not playing audio so I wouldn't depend on these for protection as is. I've used the raidans mod on regular headphones and used them at the gun range in a pinch.

Answer:	Thank you for your interest in Danco products. Our Danco 88599, Lift and Turn Tub and Bath Drain Stopper, simply threads into the bath shoe clockwise. You should be able to lock the stopper in position and then rotate counter clockwise to remove without the use of a screwdriver.
Question:	Does it come with a cotter pin
Answer:	Yes, the end is threaded. The smooth part at the bottom in the picture is a nut to protect the threads. You discard the nut before installing. Watch the video from the top review to get more info.
Question:	I see that this drain cover is round so the dimensions given can't be correct. What is the outer diameter measurment
Answer:	A home drain pipe is typically a 4 or 5 inch pipe. The "adapter" that connects the bathtub drain to that pipe reduces that 4 or 5 inch pipe down to about 2 inches, this is the ring you see in the drain when there is no stopper. It is probably confusing as this product is supposed to seal off the reduced 2 inch opening but they are just starting that this product works with tubs that have 4 or 5 inch drains even though the pipe is not what the part connects to.
Question:	Does this item come with a cotter pin
Answer:	The package states that the product can expose you to chemicals including chromium (hexavalent compounds), which is known in California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm (no mention of lead from brass). Of course, you are not chewing on this and are just touching the chrome knob, and after that, washing your hands because you are bathing in the tub. No worry.

Answer:	Mine works just fine. Are you making sure the circle hole is at the top when you stick it on. Also seems to attach better if you get the suction cups wet first.
