Answer:	I've not had to use this cord in an application with prolonged constant exposure to the elements. As it is Nylon, I can guess that it's water resistance would be good for years but I cannot attest to the UV resistance and resultant strength retention/reduction over time. On a separate note, the cord stretches under load when wet so depending on what you are hanging/tying and how, it may droop or come loose.

Answer:	Paracord will shrink the first time it gets wet. Other than that, no adverse effects will be had by getting your paracord wet. It will also depend what you have tied to it. If you exceed its capabilities, it can break. Information on paracord: It WILL support 550 pounds as a STATIC load. That means a load that doesn't bounce, swing or move around. A 150 pound person can exert a thousand pounds of force on a line by bouncing or other activity that adds momentum to the weight equation. Answer:	The inner strands are nylon. There is no "special" strand for fire starting. Nylon melts before it burns and it smokes when it burns. I would not rely on it for a fire starter or tinder. I hope that helps. I have bought some para cord that has one thread that is made for what you asked about, one name is tindercord, or something like that.
Question:	Acid blue is a very dark blue, but you show it as light blue, like powder blue. Which is it? Thank you
Answer:	Acid blue is a rather dark almost violet blue, I have noticed, on certain paracording retailers, sometimes their color examples are off, either by accident or someone else put them in and it hadnt been fixed, and the lighting gives off a different hue. Be careful as sometimes the color they have isn't the same as other retailers... so where as it is normally a dark blue, FeeJoo, more than likely has the powder blue as their acid blue.

Answer:	UV resistant and light and heat resistant means that the color should not fade in the sun. The color fast dies or the pigment in the nylon resist fading. I use mine on the boat and the color is not faded by the sun. The cord may have a little more stretch if it is heated up in the sun. I would not use this to support a person.

Answer:	I expect a 1/4" pulley would call for a 1/4" soft rope. This paracord is 3.8 mm diameter. That is around 5/32" so about 3/32" short of 1/4". I think we are splitting hairs. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
