Just make sure that you engage the 'exterior' mode when using the detector, this can be achieved by pressing the ON/OFF button twice on the PLS 360 (green LED will be flashing). I believe this is a discontinued product in the Americas, so I would recommend checking out the PLS SLD (Red). The PLS SLD is still a manufactured product and supported today.

The windage and elevation adjustments are 1 MOA, meaning that 1 click moves the point of impact 1 inch at 100 yards. When I first got this mouse I found it to be laggy sometimes, it would hang a little once in a while, and when I tried to make very small detailed or very slow movements it would stick or not move, like trying to get a cursor right between two letters. Then I tried one more thing, I got a USB extension cord and ran the cord from the back of the PC to the top of my desk (my pc is under my desk)where I plugged the Receiver into that end so the mouse had a direct line of sight to the usb receiver, this cleared up all the issues and the mouse has worked very smooth and responsive since. It just seems the signal is not that powerful and you need a direct line of site between the mouse and usb receiver for the mouse to function at its best.

Answer:	I ordered this on july 25, 2015 and it was the new model with 300 lumens, 2 batteries, and the laser mounted under the light. It has a strobe feature.
Question:	Has anyone put it on a M&P 40 Pro with a 4.25" barrel? If so,how far does it stick out from the muzzle.Does the muzzle blast mess up the light
Answer:	The pro has a 5" barrel. I have used this on a SW MP40 with the 4.25" barrel. After ~100K rounds I am ordering a new one. The laser is just starting to fail. The laser will not come on half the time (shaking it helps, but now what you want to do with a loaded weapon) The muzzle blast has actually deformed the ring around the light lens. I it is egg shaped with a flattened top. Even with this the light still works fine but it feels like it is harder to get the carbon off of the lens. I also have one on my rifle with about as many rounds on the light. It still functions as new. Just a few scratches. It does not have any exposure to muzzle blast though.

Answer:	I have mine mounted on the lower quad rail of my ar style dpms lrt-sass .308 with no problems. It will work just fine for you.

GL (Standard):

This key fits Glock or 'universal' rails. These have a cross slot about 5/32-inch wide. The Standard system key appears somewhat thinner than the Picatinny key.

MIL-STD-1913 'Picatinny':

The 1913 key is wider than the standard key. Slots are 0.206-inch wide. Some guns with a Picatinny rail still need a standard key depending on the construction of the rail.

Smith & Wesson 99/TSW:

This key has the bar extended farther back than the other keys. They are for rails having a non-standard (too short) distance between the slot and the trigger guard.

Beretta 90two:

This key looks like it has a Picatinny rail but dimensions are different.

M-Lights should not be used on the 90two and will fall off under recoil.

P-01 - Should work with GL (Standard) key. (Not tested; based on similar European version).

FN:

5.7 (with Picatinny style rail) -1913 key.

Glocks:

Any with rails – GL (Standard) key. Cannot fit Glocks that are not equipped with factory rails.

HK:

USP (full size only) - use HK adapter 69085 with a GL (Standard) key. Compact size - use HK adapter 69091 with a GL (Standard) key.

HK P2000 (new) is supposed to have Picatinny rail.

HK P30 -1913 key.

Note: The rail tilts down slightly from the bore. This may result in laser zeroing difficulty closer than 50 feet (depending on the tolerances of the pistol and laser).

Kimber:

TLE RLII (1911 with rail) - Picatinny key.

Ruger:

KP345 - GL (Standard) key.

SR-9 - GL (Standard) key.

Sig Sauer:

GSR or 1911 Style with flat bottom rail - Picatinny key.

Any aluminum frame SIG with a round bottom rail, including the P220R, P229R, etc.: The Sig round bottom rail departs from the true shape of both the 1913 and Universal standards and may cause an improper fit. The TLR will work with the 1913 key but there will be damage to the finish of both the gun and the light. The retaining screw must be tight.

Newer Sig P series guns are supposed to have a true Picatinny rail. This has not been verified by Streamlight.

SP2022 (Polymer frame): Same comments as for aluminum frames, except that the polymer frame is a little thicker and does not show marks from a clamp. Per SIG, use the 1913 key.

Smith & Wesson:

TSW and 99: the slot is too far back for the standard key and requires the special S&W key. There are many different models of TSW, but if it's a TSW with a rail, it uses the S&W key.

M&P Autoloader - Picatinny key.

Sigma - Cannot fit.

Springfield Armory:

Operator (1911 with rail) - Picatinny key.

XD (4 & 5-inch barrels) - GL (Standard) key. Cannot fit 3inch barrel.

Walther:

99 (New 2004 models): full size ones are nearly the same as the S&W 99 and use the S&W key. Older ones (no slot across the rail and the side grooves closed in front) cannot be fitted with a TLR.

99 Compact – Cannot fit. Rail is too short.

P22 – Cannot fit. Non-standard rail.

The Streamlight TLR Remote Pressure Switch Plug Coil fits the TLR1 and TLR2 Series lights. The shotgun coil remote switch allows for expansion of cord with pump action. The tethered rubber cap keeps the connector dry when the remote is not in use. All remotes feature a rotating quick disconnect plug with an O-ring seal. The long gun remote switch attaches to rail forend with included clips. The remote tape switch fits most right-angle grips and other aftermarket accessories. Answer:	If you have a picinary rail system on your rifle it's easy. The remote switch come with attachments for that. It sorts out nice.
Question:	How easily would this be mounted to a vertical fore grip? Would simply zip tying it on work? Its a knights armament grip. Thanks
Answer:	You can mount it with the included zip ties but I'd be leery of doing that for fear they will activate the pressure switches if they moved at all and they didn't hold my switch to my grip tight enough to prevent it from moving. The kit includes 2 small screws that were easy to screw in to the vertical fore grip via the recessed pre-drilled holes on the switch. There is also a piece of double sided tape included but when I tried to mount it that way the tape didn't hold the switch in place well enough to make practical.
Question:	Will this switch operate the light, strobe, laser functions
Answer:	This switch only turns off and on based on where the toggle is set on the streamlight.

Answer:	The pressure pad for this unit requires the user to hold the button for the unit to work. It will turn off when the button is released.
Question:	Does this also have an IR laser or just green
Answer:	This particular model does not feature an IR laser. I suggest looking at the SM25013 or SM25013DE if you are interested in any IR illumination.

Elevation & Windage adjustment

Rotate the windage and elevation adjustments to move the alignment of the laser dot. Each click is 1 MOA value, meaning that 1 click moves the point of impact 1 inch at 100 yards or ½ inch at 50 yards.

Push buttons

Easy to operate push buttons. Just push the button down and a click should be heard when the laser/light is activated.

Choice of Color
