Answer:	It'll push them but it'll over heat... I have two 15s that peak at 2000, with a nice size capacitor but it still had a hard time performing and kept shutting off... I bought another one, put one on each sub and BOOM BOOM BOOM is all my neighborhood hears when I drive down the street... Plus I changed my alternator to a higher amperage alternator and added a secondary dry cell battery...

Which is good unless your subs are rated more then that. What ever peek is x .707 gives you RMS so take that and work it in

Answer:	I know that this is an old question, but just in case someone reads it and gets confused... the original question appears to be flawed. These speakers have dual 4 ohm vc's, and the amp he's using (planet audio vx4002) is a 2 channel amp that is stable at 2 ohms... it seems like he wants to run one woofer to each channel , and yes, you would want to run it at 2 ohms... however running them in "series" would make the resistance of each speaker 8 ohms (the opposite of the intended result)... unless there is something I'm overlooking, the question should have read "...should I wire them parallel for a 2 ohm load..."

Answer:	I had a 3000 watt D on just one I had which is more than enough power but I suggest not getting a Lanzar amp I had a 2500 watt D amp mono block and it always ran hot on me the 3000 watt amp I had was quantum audio really good amp and never cut off on me no matter how long I played it

Thats terrible business ethics and have probably caused many unaware customers to blow their subs within days of plugging them in.

Answer:	Like 400wrms. They will NOT handle a burp of anything over. I ended up buying the Hifonics brutus 15D4. It sounds good on lows, struggles a bit on high lows. But for 60 bucks, the Hifonics was great.
