Product description
The Superchannel Fins by Mares have been awarded both the testers choice award and the best buy award in 2007 by Scuba Diving Magazine. The features of this fin are the channel thrust technology, superchannel technology, thermoplastic rubber/tecralene and upper and lower stabilizers. Channel thrust technology maximizes the channeling of water and moves a much greater amount of water compared to other fins of the same size. The result is greater thrusting power with the same amount of effort. Latest development in channel thrust is the superchannel. The blade is designed with a large flexible central superchannel that propels water flow more efficiently down the fin blade instead of letting it spill over the sides for optimal performance and minimal diver effort. The thermoplastic rubber/tecralene allow for a comfortable fit eliminating the need for protection against blisters. Upper and lower stabilizers are vertical ribs that anchor the blade through the kick cycle to eliminate side to side wobbling effect, keeping your kicks stable and reducing power loss. Details: New blade design with a large central Superchannel and two traditional lateral channels Provides excellent thrust while maintaining hi-efficiency to reduce leg fatigue Foot pocket is molded for maximum comfort Channel Thrust Technology system for optimal water channeling Color: Blue or Yellow Sizes: 3.5 - 13.
- Three-Channel "Super-Channel" Blade
- Tecralene/Thermoplastic Rubber for Superior Performance
- Rugged, Durable Construction
- Orthopedic Foot Pocket

Question: | Wear a 8.5 men's us shoe. With my booties size 8 mares what size fin do I need |
Answer: | I wear size 11 shoes and I took size large fins fits me prefect. I hope this helps you. |
Question: | Does the white color "yellow" over time |
Answer: | I got all black fins.. there isn't any white.. however the mares sign down the center did wash away very easy after only a few uses.. however I am a dive professional and dive multiple times a day everyday |
Question: | Hi, the size regular,it would be size? I'm looking for a size M yellow. Thanks |
Answer: | hi, the size regular,it would be size? I'm looking for a size M yellow. Thanks |
Question: | What shoe size is an XL for a man |
Answer: | Joe Diver America is correct, and like the others stated it depends on the thickness of your dive boots. I wear a true size 15 mens shoe; I have a 2mm boot and these XL fins fit well. Since there is an included spacer you could let the tension off the straps just a bit, but they are good for me as they come without the spacer. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does the zipper look like it will last and not freeze up or snag |
Answer: | Two of my friends have this bag also zipper works real durable no problems |
Question: | Hi - would this bag hold youth football gear? Shoulder pads, helmet, cleats, padded girdle, padded shirt |
Answer: | It holds a boyancy compensator, boots, fins, mask, snorkel, regulator bag, and a few odds and ends easily. About 25lbs of gear. I imagine it would work fine for football gear though I'm not a sports guy so don't quote me on that. It's about 3ft long and about 1 1/2 feet in diameter and the mesh stretches. I would be willing to bet it would work fine for your application just watch that the cleats don't rip the mesh up. |
Question: | Can this bag be checked in as baggage when flying |
Answer: | Don't even think about it. Between the mesh snagging on everything along the way and the two handles flopping around, you can be sure the bag will be lost or torn. And since it is so easy to see through, you are tempting every thief who handles it. TSA in the US fires some 500 baggage handlers every year for thefts. |
Question: | What are the dimensions of the bag |
Answer: | A hair over 37" long and approximately 15" diameter. I purchased this for a pop up tent that I use at the beach. Perfect for that, as it readily releases sand. The longest dimension of my tent is 37" and I am still able to put one end of the tent in, and then slide the bottom in. |

Question: | Will these fit the mares x one snorkeling fin? say size 7 for the boot and medium for the fins |
Answer: | Hello yes it will work. Thanks Dixie Divers |
Question: | What country are these made in |
Answer: | Cambodia |
Question: | I wear shoe size 12 mens. What would be my size for these boots |
Answer: | I would try 11. I have size 10.5-11 shoe depending on brand and I wear the 10 bootie. I had the 11 bootie and it fit but was a little too large like it could get sucked off my foot getting in and out of water. I think the 11 bootie would fit right and not too snug for you |

The X-stream performance, comfort and lightweight design are the incredible result of sixty passionate years at the service of diving. - Bungee Strap
- Riddled foot pocket avoids "parachute effect"
- Next generation OPB
- Tri-material blade construction reduces turbulence
- Channel thrust technology
- Riddled Foot Pocket: The perforations prevent stagnating water flow from slowing you down. Eliminating this “parachute effect” you’ll slide faster through the water. Furthermore the openings eliminate any suction effect, making doffing easier
- OPB - Optimized Pivoting Blade: Allows the blade to maintain an optimal angle throughout the kicking cycle, whereas traditional fins achieve this only during a small portion of the cycle. OPB produces a constant thrust, which minimizes fatigue and produces fluid movement through the water
- Channel Thrust: Soft longitudinal inserts allow a controlled deformation of the fin blade while kicking. This channel shape moves a greater amount of water resulting in more thrust for the same effort
- Tri-Material Construction: 3 specific materials for maximum elasticity, high durability and resistance to aging. The result is superior performance in all diving conditions

The Razor Pro is a new fin with an interchangeable blade. The foot pocket is incredibly comfortable thanks to the design developed in collaboration with a leading Italian podology clinic. The shapes and the extra thickness on the instep and the tensioners under the arch have been meticulously researched to convey the maximum amount of energy produced to the blade, yet still provide complete comfort. The variable-thickness blade bends during the various phases of finning action, achieving an ideal flexion curve, thanks in part to the use of the best technopolymers, the true core of agility and elasticity. The special design of the channels on the blade and the lateral stringers on the foot pocket make it possible to channel and increase the flow of water toward the pronounced "V" at the tip, increasing thrust and preventing the fin from slipping laterally. Its light weight and power give the Razor Pro the best yield among all the technopolymer fins currently available on the market.

User questions & answers
Question: | What's the size of this bag |
Answer: | 22" H x 17" W (widest is the base) x ~11" D. These are rough estimates taken when my bag was full of swimgear. |
Question: | Is the zipper metal or plastic |
Answer: | Yes, in fact it's big enough for three kickboards and three pairs of fins (some of them child-sized), plus several semi-deflated beach balls. My kids don't share. The bag is huge. |
Question: | Can a snorkle vest fit in the bag |
Answer: | It is 18" x 24". Hope that helps! |
Question: | will this fit Cressi rondine fins? 23" long, 8" wide |
Answer: | The bag is 24" x 17". It rocks. I have the previous Speedo bag and the current TYR bag. This Speedo bag is superior in design. It is solid material on bottom for strength (the TYR bag is netted and tears easily). The zippered/dry pocket is a good size and easy to access (on the previous Speedo it was small and difficult to access). |

Question: | Can someone tell me which size to order if i am a us size 9? the sizing options are way too confusing |
Answer: | Yes they run big. 8-9 |
Question: | Hi, im a women size 10. what size should i get? thank you |
Answer: | Nicole, I don't know the answer specifically but I feel that I can offer some insight! I am a size 10.5 men's and I wear a size 8/9. I also feel that I should warn you that this is a very powerful fin. I am 250 pounds and play underwater hockey so I need all of that power to move around briskly but they can tweak ankles and wear on your muscles! For me though it is the best fin for my needs that I can afford. If you have other questions you can email me if you would like. [email protected] Regards, Andrew |
Question: | do they have a yellow blade and black footpocket |
Answer: | To answer your question, yes, I have seen that color variant and many others. Whether you can find that particular color in your size available on Amazon,,, well maybe! They all are black foot pockets and I have personally seen camo, black, yellow, gray colored fin blades and I believe I have seen blue offered also! |
Question: | I am size 7 women’s. Do you have my size |
Answer: | The smallest Quattro Power is a mens 6.5-7.5 which would be big for you. If you are freediving, we would suggest the Sporasub Lady Spitfire or if you are just snorkeling/diving the Mares Volo Race comes in a 5-6 which would most likely fit you |

Question: | If i'm a 6.5 women's shoe size, what size fins should i get? small |
