Bicycle inner tubes with PRESTA Valve. Sunlite tubes are high quality tubes at an affordable price. These tubes work on all brands and genres of bicycles. Verify the size you require. Replacement inner tube for road, recumbent, triathalon, mountain, single speed fixies, cruiser or any bicycle tire with the same tire dimensions. Be sure to verify the size of inner tube, valve type and length. Remember to always add a little air (to give the tube form) to the new inner tube before installing. This will prevent it from bunching up and/or causing a pinch flat or possibly blowing the tire off the rim (when you immediately and fully inflate) which ultimately will pop the tube.
- 2 Tubes, 700c x 28-35, (27x1-1/8 to 1-1/4)
- 48mm Presta Valve, Threaded w/Removable Core
- Please check the side of your tire or on your old inner tube for the proper size, valve type and valve length.
- When changing your bicycle inner tube ALWAYS be sure to add just a little air to the tube before installing. This gives it form so it doesn't get twisted or bunch up which may cause a pinch flat. Once the new tube is installed and BEFORE fully inflating only add a few PSI to further form the tube. Inspect for an even bead of the tire to the rim on both sides.
- Then, inflate to approximately half the desired PSI and re-inspect the tire bead to the rim again. If even beading all the way around on both sides then inflate to the recommended air pressure. This procedure is important because if the bead doesn't hook properly on the rim then as the inner tube is inflated it can sneak out between the tire and rim and then BOOM!
User questions & answers
Question: | How are these shipped, ups or usps |
Answer: | US Postal Service when fulfilled from us. When fulfilled by Amazon it could be UPS, USPS or Amazon courier. |
Question: | How much should i inflate these tubes? i don't see a psi rating on the box or description anywhere |
Answer: | They will take whatever the tire will take, it is the tire that determines the pressure rating, ours are 75 so we fill the tube to 75, when it is in the tire. Some are more, some less. |
Question: | Que cantidad trae cada paquete |
Answer: | dos |
Question: | Will this replace a tube that reads "700 x 25/32c |
Answer: | It should. The most important number is your tire size (look at the sidewalk of the tire). If your tire is only a 25 it will be a tight fit. If your tire is between 28 and 35 you will be fine. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this the skinny roadbike size |
Answer: | No, look on the side of the tire for the size you need. You might be looking for a 700 x 18-23 with a presta valve. |
Question: | I have two different tires on my cx bike. The front is 700x38 and the rear is 700x35c 1 5/6 x1 3/8 will these tubes work for both |
Answer: | This tube will work for both sizes of tires that you mentioned. You might want to run them at different pressures. This tube will allow you do that as well. |
Question: | Hi, is the valve stem removable so I can put in Stans |
Answer: | Yes removable |
Question: | What's the recommended psi to inflate these tubes |
Answer: | The tube will withstand any pressure rating a tire is rated for. The tire and rim construction are the limiting factors on how much psi, not the tube. Over inflate a tire beyond its max rating could cause the tire to blow apart and potentially harm some one. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How thick is thick is the rubber |
Answer: | they never say |
Question: | What is the maximum psi for the 700c tubes |
Answer: | The max pressure is determined by the tire. The tire contains the tube and therefore there isn't a max pressure rating for the tube. |
Question: | Inner tube sizes suck! can't find references to my tire size 27x1-38 etrto 37-630 k61 presta valve - is this the one |
Answer: | 700c and 27 inch take the same very minimal size difference in those tires. The box on tube says 700 & 27 |
Question: | Will this tube fit a tire 28-622 (700 x 28c - 28 x 1 5/8 x 1 1/8)? I see someone asked a similar question but didn't get a for certain answer |
Answer: | It will. 622 is the rim diameter and 28 is the width in millimeters. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Comparing this to "thicker" tire (my last two, different brand, blew out when inflating). How thick are these? (Please don't answer unless you know |
Answer: | Thank you for the question. With all due respect an inner tube cannot just blow out during inflation without the tire being blown out also. Think about it....the tire CONTAINS the inner tube and the only way the tube can blow out, without damaging the tire being damaged, is if it slips out between the rim and the tire. It doesn't matter how thick an inner tube is to how much air it can withstand. The tire and the rim are the determining factors on max pressure and it 's based on their construction. The tire has to be properly hooked / beaded to the rim. If it's not fully hooked / beaded and you go to fully inflate the tire then the inner tube can sneak out between the tire and the rim and you'll get an explosion and a big tear in the tube. This is usally the case using an air compressor where it is a rapid inflation and the person doesn't notice the inner tube pulling the tire bead out of the rim and then BOOM.PLEASE READ THESE STEPS: It's imperative that the tire is inflated slowly and incrementely to prevent an exploding tube. My practice (bike shop owner for many years) is to inflate to approximately 15 psi and then inspect the tire bead to ensure it is evenly beading to the rim. There is usually a reference line on the tire near the rim and it should be the same distance from the rim all the way around the tire AND on BOTH sides. If it looks good then inflate to approximately 25-30psi and re-inspect. If the tire is starting to unhook or unbead from the rim you should be able to use your hands and fingers to force it back in without letting any air out. However, you might need to release some air to get it to fully hook onto the rim. Basically, incremently add air and constantly inspect the tire bead to the rim until your fully inflated to the recommended tire pressure indicated on the tire. Now, there has been instances of the tire coming unhooked well after the installation of the new tube. It can happen in a matter of minutes or it could take a day or two. This happens if the tire bead is not FULLY hooked but has just enough grab to hold for a period of time.Additional Note: You also need to ensure the rim has the proper rim strip to protect it from the spoke nuts. A rim strip in poor condition can certainly allow a spoke nut to puncture a tube. But it's usually just a slow leak similar to a puncture.Sincerely,Andy |
Question: | it says 1.95 - 2.35 inch tubes, so if i have a tire of 2.125 inches it should fit? or will it be too big |
Answer: | it should fit |
Question: | I have 26x2.10 tire will this fit |
Answer: | Yes it will fit. No problem |
Question: | I have a tube size of 26x1.95, but cant find it in the dimensions that you offer. Can you recommend one that will fit |
Answer: | Hi William, this one is a bit too big. Do a search on Amazon for this ASIN: B010OPR6WU Select the tube that is 26" x 1.75-1.95. Be sure you need the regular Schrader valve. If you're needing a Presta valve it would be a different listing. Hope this helps! |

User questions & answers
Question: | is the presto valve threaded the total length, or just at the top |
Answer: | The full length. Look at the 2nd image that shows the presta valve stem. |
Question: | I have 20x1.5 tires but it’s 40x406, can this 406x32-37 fits |
Answer: | It will work in a pinch but its not ideal. When you go with an undersized tube the rubber has to stretch further than design and may fail sort of like putting too much air in a small balloon. |
Question: | The description says 406 x 32-37 but the box says 406 x 37-45. Which is it? I need |
Answer: | Two points I suspect they use a single picture for the whole line of 20 inch tubes but even if the tube they send is oversize frankly tube size within reason and 5 mm is not large are not really an issue. The tire is goign to constrain an oversize tube. Tubes are like balloons blown up inside a box. They will only expand to the size of the box -- in this case the tire. What you do need to be sure if is the valve size and the size on your rim. This line with Presta valves come in a variety of lengths. On 20 inch wheels you don't want something much longer than a 32 mm stem or it gets hard to get the pump on it as it gets to near the spokes if its larger. You should never go smaller in tube width than you need but you can almost always go slightly larger. Again my expectation is this is a stock photo and they use for several sizes and they will send you the right tube, but if its bigger so long as its not grotesquely bigger its won't be a problem. |
Question: | Are the cores removable |
Answer: | Sorry but they are not removable. |

Question: | Do these fit all 29" wheel diameter tires |
Answer: | Be sure to size the tube to the tire e.g. a 29 X 2.4 tire needs a tube that will expand to fit the 29 X 2.4 |
Question: | I need 27.5-2.2" tubes but I don't know what 32mm or 48mm refers to. I'm sure someone out there knows -so please enlighten me |
Answer: | Sorry about the Christmas delay. The 32mm (1.25") or 48mm (1.9") refers to the length of the valve stem in millimeters. |
Question: | I have a bike with inner-tubes 700X 18/25C- out of the sunlite thorn resistant presta valve tubes- which would be the best to get for my bike |
Answer: | If Sunlite does not offer a tube size that matches your current tubes, find a vendor with thorn-resistant tubes that match your current-size tubes. |
Question: | Has sunlite addressed the stem separation issue |
Answer: | I’ve had these on my MTB since April 2014 and have been very pleased with the thickness and durability. I’m a weekend rider in the Arizona desert area where there’s lots of cactus to dodge throughout the trails. I’ve put many miles on the tubes. I was surprised when I got a flat last weekend and discovered it was from the valve separating. Arrrg! I’d say I got my money’s worth, after almost 4 yrs and a few cactus rollovers, but disappointed it was the valve and not a puncture. I will admit my tire pressure was lower than normal (25-30psi Vs 40psi) which may have caused the valve to shift more than normal inside the rim. So It could have been my fault. So I’m ordering a replacement to see if I can get another 4yrs. Fingers crossed. Just my 2 cents. |
