Answer:	If it were me, I would not turn off the Thunderstorm warning, because Super Cell Thunderstorms can and do produce Tornadoes sometimes. Just my take on it.
Question:	Can the volume of the alarm be changed? Wall mountable
Answer:	The unit is ABSOLUTELY wall mountable. Two channels in the back to hang on mounted screws. Alert tone volume cannot be changed. Radio alarm volume... yes.
Question:	Does this radio activate read the warning and turn off automatically after the warning is red out
Answer:	On the WR300, It turns off automatically FIVE MINUTES after the warning is done. So, at 2am, you have to listen to it blare if you don't want to get out of bed to push the button. I do not know about the WR400. The Reecom R-1630 has EOM, which turns the audio back to standby mute as soon as the message is done.
Question:	Does it use batteries for backup
Answer:	It has the ability to run off of batteries or the included A/C adapter. Without the A/C adapter the batteries will last about a month in the monitoring mode before becoming exhausted. It also had the ability to tune in regular radio stations in addition to the weather channels, which makes it useful in time of emergency when the power goes out (running on batteries).

This information is not in the manual, but the manufacturer has a webpage that is helpful (but hard to find!).

Answer:	Don't recall receiving an AC power supply. I removed the batteries and was able to recover audio by plugging a USB cable into the "USB in 5v" jack. Seems like an acceptable AC power source to me.

Answer:	HD Radio is noted as being High Density, not High Definition. High Density allows digital sub channels within the same bandwidth. This radio does not demodulate or decode HD Radio format stations.

We assume that your clock has been searching for WWVB signal for time calibration, which happens after you reset the clock or at midnight. The projection and the backlight will resume once the calibration is complete. You can long press the "-" button to stop the clock searching time signal. Answer:	I have this radio and use it with Pandora when I shower. It doesn't have buttons to skip songs or anything like that to control my Iphone or computer. Works nice for what I wanted though.

Answer:	Yes, there is an antenna. It's not the "telescope" kind, but a plastic-coated wire coiled up next to the battery compartment that you can unwind and hang out the back (there's a special hole for it). It will improve reception if it's not good enough without.

Answer:	Shows time, but LCD contrast is disappointing with or without backlight. When my digital watches or weather stations get that dim i know it's time to replace the battery. But my H202 has new batts and shows full charge on the display. Unfortunate, it's a great radio otherwise.

Answer:	The adapter is for running from an AC adapter - it does not recharge batteries in the radio. Batteries last quite a while. I use the radio about 30-40 minutes a day, radio 80-90%, the rest bluetooth. With that usage pattern, D cells last for months. Around the holidays I switched to rechargeable AA Sanyo Eneloops with D spacers, they last about 4-6 weeks between recharges, so that's a reasonable option if you'd prefer to recharge.

Question:	Can you disable the beep in the Speaker? I don't really like having the beep in the speaker when changing pages or presets
Answer:	The beep can be disabled. With the power "Off," press and hold memory button #3 for two seconds. All beeps will be disabled except Alarm and WX Alert. Repeat sequence to enable beep again.
Question:	Currently have the Sangean DT-200X. Would I benefit from an upgrade to the CC Pocket radio
Answer:	i own them both. the cc pocket is far superior to the sangean dt-200x and any other radio of this type. i own many radios both new and vintage,the cc pocket competes favourably with any of them.
Question:	does this radio come with a power cord too or will it only run on batteries
Answer:	No power Cord, BUT, the way I use this GREAT RADIO! ! ! Is buy 4 rechargeable AA batteries and charger as this will save you a lot of $$$ on batteries anyway, then put one set of 2 batteries in the radio, and then you have 2 more batteries to swap out when the first set needs charging. Note this Radio runs about 100hours per charge, so for a Emergency Radio it will last for a while with 4 batteries. a small solar panel that can charge these batteries I a couple hours and you are set.
Question:	Can anyone compare distant AM station reception to other pocket radios such as the CC SW Pocket or the Sangean DT
Answer:	I've had two of the Sangean DT-210's. I noticed right away that the CC's AM and FM reception is better with noticeably less static noise coming from the speaker for all 5 of my AM and 5 FM stations here in Phoenix. There is still one problematic AM station I deal with but reception is better on the CC for that one. The CC also has a cellphone type signal strength display on the screen so you can twist or move the radio to get the best radio signal for that station. The 210 does not have this feature.
