Answer:	They're rubber tires with an innertube, like a bicycle. I bought my trike in 2008 for my daughter and my third child is now riding it. The tires are still good, and I bought my first replacement innertube for it about a week ago.

Answer:	no push bar. But the inflated tires and adjustable seat make it a bit easier for the child to learn to pedal for him(her)self. My two year old grandson loved his and was able to pedal by himself fairly quickly.

Answer:	I used to live on a gravel road, so I understand. It should work ok, but not great. I don't think you'll find anything out there that will work better though. It definitely will be better than one of the tricycles with plastic tires!

Answer:	I have purchased three of these bikes for my grandchildren. The youngest who is 2 can reach the pedals when the seat is in the forward most position but hasn't quite mastered pedaling. He uses his feet to push himself along and occasionally practices trying to pedal. The oldest of the grands that has this bike is 5 and fits perfect with the seat set the furthest back and she rides it around like a speed demon with plenty of room to extend her legs far enough to pedal. This is a great bike and totally worth every penny I spent on them. The seat position is very easy to adjust so I purchased the third one to keep at my house, grandmas, for when the grands are here on the weekends. On a scale of 1-5 I would definitely give this bike a 5 plus.

Answer:	It only makes the ticking noise when the kid's feet are on the pedals keeping the pedals stationary as you push. Not sure why they designed it this way. But if your kid puts his feet up on the wheel well, like my kid then the ticking stops.
Question:	Does this trike make loud noise going over sidewalks because of the plastic wheels? Trying to avoid the loud noise that her Step 2 car makes
Answer:	Not as noisy as the car, but sounds like plastic wheels on pavement. Also, if their feet are on the pedals, it makes a clicking sound if they aren't pedaling. None of this detracts from our enjoyment of the bike.

Answer:	The lock is naturally in locked state. When you close the door, the door is automatically locked. When you enter the code, it momentarily engage the outside handle so you can turn the knob to open the door. But from inside, you can always turn the knob to open the door. Hope that helps.

Answer:	For good pictures I would suggest getting an adapter, i have seen them sold that line up the aperture. I was able to take semi blurry pictures with just my smart phone camera lens held up the the eyepiece. Hope this helps!

Question:	Is this easy for parent to steer from the back
Answer:	I had to chip extra wood on the door to make room for the new latch. If its round, you will have to do the same. Simply install the new latch and pencil the wood and chip to fit the new latch.
Question:	Are the wheels rubber, plastic, or the type with a thin rubber coating over hard plastic wheels? Thx
