Answer:	The hole on the rack for the hitch pin is 1/2". This is designed to work with the No Wobble Bolt that is included with the rack. This bolt works to securely tighten the rack when installed on the vehicle and keeps the rack from moving during use.
Question:	Would this fit on a 2012 Nissan Rogue
Answer:	The brackets that the straps are attached to rotate around the rack arms, making it fairly easy once you figure out the best position. I actually had 3 women's bikes on the rack with no problems. The straps were on the diagonal bar and the vertical bar below the seat and it was very tight, no movement at all. No issues with women's bikes at all here.
Question:	What is the max weight capacity for bikes on this rack
Answer:	If you are talking about leaving the bikes, we purchased the doberman lock and secured the bikes and lock to the straight pole on back, we have two to interweave between the bike wheels and the pole. We also brought a locking pin for the hitch. Never had a problem, we have left them on there while down the shore, on bike trails while we walk or go to get something to eat.

Answer:	On the current version (2016 and newer) hitch racks, the carry arms are 11.5" apart on center. This translates to an outside dimension of approximately 13"

Answer:	None of our racks are approved for use on a trailer mounted receiver hitch. Any trailer or trailered vehicle (including 5th wheel type) has a slight side to side motion that's very low frequency (1 to 1-1/2 times per second) that fatigues the steel from which the racks are manufactured. The fatigue first happens at a molecular level, but eventually (several thousands of cycles later) a visible crack will appear. Once the crack has formed, it will enlarge, finally to the point where the rack drops off the vehicle and the rack (and bikes) impact the roadway. This is also a dangerous situation for whoever may be following the trailer on the highway. We have seen 100+ incidents where the consumers/end user has not taken this advice and suffered disastrous results. I've even had phone calls from consumers who said they read that advice (do not use on a trailer) and ignored it, only to discover a tragic end result. So . . . don't do it. If you insist on doing it regardless of the above, please use some other companies’ rack.

Answer:	While the 3210-08-1-E is not specifically intended to be used as an oven thermometer, there is no reason that if could not be used in this manner. The biggest issue I can see is that it may be difficult to read the thermometer while in the oven. Most of our oven thermometers are designed so the display is visible at a glance through the window or by opening the door.

Answer:	Mine fall down to but its never really been a problem I've been able to use the tire to lift the hook back up

Answer:	I can't address this directly since I;ve got 700x35 tires -- but I got the "hybrid" CLUG which is rated for 33-42mm tires so I'm also at the lower end of the range. There's a no wobble, as the thing expands to accept the tire and then closes around it. But there's a bit of slop in how the rest of the bike sits on the ground. I've had it for more than six months now and have never had a problem mounting the bike.

Answer:	The instructions say not to use it in drywall... only wooden stud, brick, or concrete. There's not much force on it when the bike is hanging there, but if you have thick tires, it seems like it puts a lot of force on the screws when pulling the bike out of the clip.
Question:	is there a lock accessory to lock the rack to the 2" receiver? also, a sleeve to make the rack more secure in the receiver
Answer:	I do not recall which size drill bit I used be cause I simply used a bit smaller in diameter than the screw. This method was sufficient for me to screw it into a wall. The main concern is what kind of wall or surface you plan to screw into.

The XTC Cross-Country 2-Bike Rack is designed to make it easy to carry two bikes securely on your car's hitch with no risk of bike-on-car, or bike-on-bike damage. Thanks to a built-in anti-wobble device, the platform-style rack secures solidly to 2 or 1.25-inch hitches. To load the bikes, simply lift them into the wheel platforms, secure the wheels with the integrated wheel straps, and secure the grip arms over the frames. With push button ratcheting arms and sliding wheel platforms, the rack provides a custom fit for bikes with 20 to 29-inch wheels and can accommodate multiple frame types. The soft frame-friendly coating on the grip arms, ensures that your bikes' finishes remain unmarred. Answer:	the docking hardware is for a quick detach setup, if you don't already have the quick detach lugs on your scooter now, you will have to order that accessory seperately.

Answer:	The product info says 39.1 lbs. It seems at least that and is fairly unwieldy.
Question:	Does anyone have a good secure locking system for the bikes
Answer:	We use our bike locks thru the bike wheels, bike frame and thru the mount . The only problem is that you must use the threaded pin that comes with the rack to secure the rack in the receiver hitch... Wish I could use the lock I have for the rest of my trailers/etc to secure the whole thing to the truck.
Question:	I read there is a lock available for the hitch, however is there a locking system for the bikes
Answer:	There is not a locking system for the bikes. The bikes are kept securely in place by the vertical bar with removable braces at the top. The bar will not fold down without the hitch key lock but the bikes could be removed by lifting over this bar. An additional bike lock would be recommended.
Question:	Can you buy the 2-bike rack and then an add-on for
Answer:	You can buy the four set up and then only assemble the first half (2) until you want to connect the second half later in life.

Answer:	I think you could...the wheel wells are over 5' wide

Answer:	I have not tried to open up the back of my Hyandai Sante Fe with my bike on it. I guess I was just assuming you would only be trying to open up your back gate without a bike(s) on it. Sorry I cannot help you out with an answer.

Answer:	I'd be very careful with E-bikes. They generally weigh more than 35lbs.

A great solution for carrying 1 or 2 bikes with the secure mounting capabilities of a platform style rack. This XTC2 Tilt Hitch mounted bike rack can tilt down away from the rear of the vehicle, even with the bikes still mounted on the rear of the vehicle.

The XTC2 Tilt comes complete with a 1-1/4" receiver bar and a 2" adapter plate allowing it to easily fit most hitches.
